Back Again
Bedtime
Hayden's POV
I watched the movie as it ended, on the verge of tears. It was such a good movie, I know, I'm a child, but I love it. It was the first movie I watched that made me think I could do anything. As the credits began to play down the screen I checked my watch. 9:30. It wasn't too late but we all had to get up to get to CSI so we might as well get ready and go to bed now. "Boys, I think it's time we all go to bed."
"Ok." They said in unison. Harry and I walked into my bedroom.
"Sorry, it's so pink. When Tori and I first met she insisted on doing a makeover to my room and this is what came out of it."
"Naw, it's fine, I like pink. If you don't mind. what is your accent. I couldn't quite place it when I first heard it and so I just decided to ask."
"Of course I don't mind. I'm part australian, along with a few other things, and my mother was from Tennessee, When I was 10 I began to talk with a southern accent, just naturally, and when I was 15 the australian accent came in, again naturally, and now it's just a mix of both. It's kinda weird, but it makes me unique." I said smiling. (a/n-this is true I have a really weird accent.)
"That's quite interesting actually."
"What was everything else I said before not interesting?" I joked. He sat in thought.
"Hmmm, no." He responded bluntly. I gasped and hit his arm.
"Well I never found you that interesting either."
"Ouch that hurt me, right here." He said pointing to his heart, while smiling.
"Oh, I'm sure it did. Now you have to go get ready for bed, the boys bathroom is just outside, find it and tell the boys."
"Ok."And he walked out of the room. I wandered into Tori and mine's bathroom and began my nighttime routine. I left my pajamas on and brushed my teeth and hair. I wiped my makeup off and cleaned my face with my miracle working organic face wash. Then I used my burts bees organic tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil blemish reduction and spread it all throughout my face. I applied my eos chapstick and put on my prescribed eczema medicine. Finally I pulled my hair into a braid and walked out to see Harry sitting on my bed. He was holding my purple stuffed hippo.
"What's this?" He asked.
"Well, not that it's any of your business, but my dad gave this to me and I have always kept it since then."
"Thats adorable." He said.
"Ha, sure tell that to my brothers. Actually tell that to my entire family, they judge me. My parents don't but my brothers and my sisters."
"How many siblings do you have?"
"4. I have a younger sister by 5 years, Sarah. I have an older sister by 9 years, Madison, I have and older brother by one year, Matthew, and I have a younger brother by two and a half years, Harrison. In short Maddie is 29, Matt is 21, Harrison is 18, and Sarah is 15."
"Big family, how old are you parents? If you don't mind."
"They are 51 and 50." I saw his face do math mentally as he realized how young they must have been when they had Maddie. "My parents weren't teen parents or anything, they were in love and still are today, they thought they could handle a kid but they couldn't so waited a few years after Maddie before having Matt." I saw his face flush with embarrassment. Serves him right.
"I-I-I'm sorry I didn't mean it like that or anything. I was just wondering..." He said.
"Uh huh, I'm sure... I am just going to go make sure the other boys don't need anything." And I left.
Niall's POV
"Liam, what do you think of Hayden?" I asked him.
"What do you mean?"
"Like why do you think she is letting us stay here?"
"I think that the is a very nice person and thats why, but I know you and you wouldn't bring it up unless you really wanted to now something."
"Ok, well doesn't Haz have a picture of her in his house?"
"I'm not sure, where is said picture."
"In his bedroom." Liam sat and looked into space contemplating what I had just said.
"Now that you mention it, I think he does, but she looks alot younger..."
"Ya, I just am curious as to why he has a picture of her, and then she is part of this case that we got sucked into and now we are living with her."
"I'm sure it's nothing."
"Whats nothing?" I glanced over and saw Hayden in the door way.
"Nothing, I just talked to my mum and she sounded sick and Liam was just saying that he thought it was nothing." I said to her.
"Oh, ok. Well I just wanted to make sure that you have everything you need..."
"Actually some water would be nice." I said.
"Kay, well you know where the kitchen is and you have legs, soooo." Damn this girl was tough. I stood up and brushed past her and walked to the kitchen. I was going about my business when I heard her leave.
"Hayden." I said. She glanced over.
"Hmmm?"
"Why did you let us stay here?"
"Well my roommates aren't here and I got the feeling you didn't want to be in a hotel with a bunch of girls surrounding you so I figured what the hell." But why didn't I believe her.
Cam's POV
I couldn't wait until tomorrow. I would get to see Hayden again. Even though it's only been a few days but I was completely in love with her. I was going to ask her out then ask her to be my girlfriend. I was ecstatic.
