Back Again

Hayden's POV

~~Skip the day: Boys were asked some more questions and they called a few more people but thats it~~

I was really nervous for this date, like really nervous and honestly I felt bad for Cam. I don't know why I keep thinking Harry might like me but for whatever reason I'm getting a feeling that he does, and earlier today he was, he was naked and I was practically drooling over him and now what. And then as I was thinking, 'Hey Harry might like me..' he goes and offers to help me get ready, I mean yes he paired the best dress for this date with the best shoes and they look absolutely GORGEOUS together, but I am just so confused.

"Haydie? You know, I feel absolutely awful saying this, but if I weren't dating Jack I would be all over Niall. You know what I mean...? And what about you?" Tori said.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, ok. Don't hate me." She sat down across from me. "Why are you going out with Cam?"

"He asked me."

"Yesss, but Harry looks at you in a way-"

I cut her off. "What do you mean?"

"Just that it seems like he knew who you were before this case came up."

"I mean he met me but that was six years ago and he couldn't remember thats just insane and I've known Cam for the past three years so I feel that I might as well give it a chance."

"But what if you guys decide to start something, and then you break up. You live with him. It would be extremely awkward and whatnot." Now I was getting pissed, why does she keep prying I just want her to let it go.

"Tor, this isn't even like a proposal dinner it's just a 'trial' that's what you could call it. I won't even let him kiss me ok?" She gave me a light smile.

"Well if that's the best I can get then ok sure." And she went back to doing my hair.

After about ten more minutes, she had finished my hair and makeup and I was in love. Cam had told me to dress very nicely but to avoid any glam. In the end I, well rather Harry and Tori, had come up with this. Cam looked very nice, wearing khaki dress pant, black shoes, and a grey shirt with the top few buttons undone and the sleeves rolled. I turned to Tori, "Babe, can you just order in food, we will be back soon. I mean I have no fucking idea where we are going but I promise we will be back soon so please don't make a mess."

"Fine Hayden, I swear your the youngest of all of us but you are like the fucking mother hen." I laughed.

"Thanks Tor. You rock." And with that Cam and I left and got in his white jeep and left.

Tori's POV

"Babe, she left can you bring out the decorations!" I shouted to Jack. There were a few secrets I was hiding from Hayden. The first one was that Harry came to me before her date and asked me to try and talk her out of it, he said that he knew her from before and crap, I did my best. The other, well this is the reason Cam, Jack and I are back. We are throwing her a surprise party. I mean with a birthday like hers, you tend to get smushed with Thanksgiving and even Christmas. It's also why Cam is taking her out tonight. Jack and I both know that he likes her, so we asked him to do it. Maddie flew in with us but we dropped her at a hotel last night, and Matthew and Harrison got here this morning and went to the hotel room that Maddie was at.

"Tori, what is happening now?" Niall said from behind me.

"Oh!" Right they were here now, eh the more the merrier.

"Well, I don't know if Hayden said anything about this but her birthday is tomorrow, Thanksgiving is the next day so we are throwing her a surprise party for her birthday, she is that last one of us to turn 21 so we thought, might as well go all out." Jack said for me. "Speaking of which, babe, do you want me to go and pick up Maddie, Matt and Harrison?"

"No I can go do it, I need to fill them in on something anyway," I looked at Harry then back to Jack, "Just keep hanging things up and stuff. I'll pick up a bigger table for tomorrow since we have so much company now, and I'll grab a cake." I pecked his lips and turned around to leave. I find it so weird that One Direction is here on Hayden's birthday. I mean, now that they have spent the night and we have just talked, it's like we are friends but it's so strange that because, well, we aren't. I made my way to my red bmw convertible and got in. Luckily the bakery was only a few minutes away so I was able to get there and get a cake, before I had to pick up the boys and Maddie.

~~At the hotel~~

"MADDIE!" She looked around wildly, "Over hear!" Why the heck are there so many people here, what the fuck could b happening?

"Is it true that One Direction is staying at this very hotel?" Some random girl asked the concierge. What the fuck? The boys are staying at our dorm? I called Will

W: Hello?
T: Will, it's Tori Abellosa... Hayden's roommate.
W: Oh yes. Hayden said she gave you my number for emergencies. How can I help you.
T: Well I'm sure you know that One Direction is staying at... Shit I can't say my dorm, this place is swarmed with fans, if one hears, well that is shit I don't want to deal with. A place I'm sure you know of...
W: Yes.
T: Well I happen to live at this place, by certain circumstances, I am back and picking up people at a hotel, where I have heard One Direction is staying? Why here?"
W: We thought it would be best to tell press that they are staying at a hotel, we just haven't told people which one, however we have told the concierge at one hotel to tell anyone who asks that they are staying there, we thought it would be easier for Hayden and the college.
T: Oh, ok, sorry to disturb you.
I hung up. Well that explains it. Maddie still hadn't located me in the mob of people so I made my way over and tapped Matt's shoulder.

"Hey!" He said before enveloping me in a hug. "How are you."

"I'm good, where's Harrison."

"Well, he had to pee. He should be out in a minute but we can go to the car and you can wait here, that way we can get out of here faster."

"Ya, sure, it's parked right out front, here's the key, just look for the lights." I smiled and handed him the key as he walked out. I turned to Maddie. "Hey girl."

"Hey babe. How are you." God I loved her accent. Since she was adopted from Australia, she was pure australian. Sure Hayden had a mix of both, Matt and Harrison only had southern though. Last time I saw Sarah she didn't even have an accent but Maddie's was amazing.

"I'm good. I just sent Matt out to the car, do you want to go meet him there, I'll wait for Harrison."

"Ok. I'll see you in a minute." I watched her as she walked out. If only these girls knew that One Direction was at my place. They would freak. I waited some more, jeez Harrison, he always took for ever to pee but you'd think he'd been having a fuck right now. Finally he walked out.

"Hey Harry." I said tousling his hair.

"Don't call me that, you know I hate being called that. And don't touch me." I was taken aback.

"Why are you so grumpy?"

"I'm not, I'm just tired, so the faster we get home the better, I want to sleep before we see Hayden."

"Ok, we just have one stop to make." We walked out to the car. Maddie was already seated in the front and Matt was in the back looking inside the cake box. "Matt, hands off the cake." I snapped. Harrison got in the back with Matt and I hopped into the drivers seat. "Ok guys I am really sorry but we have to make one more stop." We drove to the furniture store that Jack's cousin worked at.

"Victoria Abellosa, haven't seen you here in a while." Jack's cousin, ironically named Jack, said.

"Hey Jax."

"I thought you said his name was Jack?" Matt said behind me.

"Ya, well I am technically Jack number 2. Vic's 'boyfriend' aka my cousin, is also Jack so all of my friends call me Jax. It's easier on the brain." Jax said.

"Hey, you have the table I bought right?"

"Yes, here it is."

"Oh, Jax thank you so much. You're going to drive behind and drop it right?"

"Ya, thankfully you thought bing and got a table that sat 10 easily, because when you called and said you had five more people I was like, 'What is that girl doing?' But then you called and explained that One..." I quickly gave him a look, "One more family was staying with you so then I was like well then. Point is, you made a good decision by ordering big."

"Ok and when we get there you'll help me move the furniture around so that we can fit it?"

"Yeah, again, girl you are so lucky I work here, no one would let you return a table after you use it but, you know I am amazing so." I hit his arm playfully.

"Thanks again Jack... ok guys lets go, it is 6:43 and we have a time limit of only 45 more minutes so lets move." I said, as we all got back in the car and Jax got into the delivery truck.

~~In the car~~

"Guys, I need all of your guys attention. It's really important."

"Mmhm, go ahead." Harrison said.

"Ok well as you know Hayden interns at CSI. And they recently got a new case involving a very famous group of people, One Direction. And they are staying at our dorm, that's why I needed the extra space. And Harry Styles like likes Hayden." I said the last part quickly.

"What?!" They all said in unison.
