"Run away with me." He said.

I froze.
Run away? Like away from everything? That sounded great. Away from family. Away from school. Away from all of my problems. But there was something that my mother always use to tell me before she passed away; "Problems are meant to be solved. Running away from them, only makes regrets." I miss her. She the one who brought the sense out of my father. I wish she was still here telling me right from wrong. I need her.

"Boo?"
I was snapped out of my thoughts.
We were in the middle of some road.

"R-run a-away?" I asked shaken up by the comment.

"I know, it sounds crazy. I just want to be with you. A-away from everything." He said.

"Liam, o-our life is...here" I said shaky.

"I know. But, we can start a new one...together" He insisted looking straight into my eyes.

"Bree, I think I'm in love with you" He almost whispered.

W-what? L-love?
I took off running. I don't know why, but I did. And the worst part is, I looked back and saw Liam just standing there. In the dark street. Alone, looking at me.

I knew the neighborhood by heart, I grew up here. I didn't know where to go. Home? What if my father was there?
I stopped when I was a few miles away from Liam's. Damn, I must have been thinking too much considering I ran all the way to riverclift.

I pulled my cell phone out of my blue bag and turned it on.

I decided to call my house considering it was probably Murdle.

Me: "Murdle?"

Caller: "Oh goodness gracious! Russifer! She picked up! She's on the phone!"
Me: "Were you that worried? I can find myself around places."

Murdle: "Honey, you have never known where to go." She chuckled.

Me: "Murdle, I don't want to see my father. We didn't exactly end things on a good note a few hours ago."

Murdle: "Where are you? Are you hurt? Did your father hurt you?! So help me if he did i'm gonna rip his-"

Me: "NO! He did not touch me!" I lied to calm her down.

Murdle: Well good, because if he did-wait a minute, WHERE ARE YOU?"

Me: "uhhh...riverclift"

Murdle: "What? Why are you in riverclift?

Me: "Long story."

Murdle: "I'm sending Russifer. And don't worry your father isn't here."

Me: "Thank you"
