Those little white lies

Waking up in my bed has to be the best thing that I will ever enjoy in my life. I reach out for my phone and see that I have 3 messages,
Serena: hey baby girl, still up for after school?
Matt: morning love, hurry up and get to school before I get bored
Liam: hey, plz come to school I'm literately dying here
haha, wow obsessed much. I get up from my bed and see that the time is 8:00, shit I'm gonna be late for school. I get up and quickly have a shower and do whatever I need to do in the bathroom. I get dressed and head downstairs to see breakfast already made and beside it a note:
good morning em,
have to go to work early at the office
some trouble going on
dad left for his business trip and won't come back in a month
so hope your gonna be alright

i love her to death but stupid work has gotta be in the way for us to hang out. Ugh I ate breakfast grabbed my bag and left for school. I was waiting for the bus when a guy in blonde came and sat next to me. Shit it's Niall. Niall is practically the school bully but really he only picks on me because I'm a nerd really. I just hate him.
"you waiting for the bus, em?"
i didn't respond to him, but it was a bad idea
"I said are you waiting for the bus" when he was saying this he grabbed me by the neck and pushed me to the nearest wall.
"cough, cough, yes, please let me go!"
"when I ask you something you respond, got it?"
"yes"
by the time I said it the bus came, just in time. He dropped me and got into the bus. After recovering myself I got in the bus and sat Ina seat the furthest from him, why does he hate me, what did I do to him.

when end I got to school I quickly went to my locker avoiding Niall. I collected my books and quickly went to look for Serena. once I found her I started crying my eyes out.
"em, what's wrong, it isn't niall is it"
I nodded . She stroked my hair and gave me a hug. Serena is like my big sister that I never had.
