Could This Be Love?

When we finished eating, I asked if he wanted to go for a walk on the beach. He agreed and we started off. We set our things down on a nearby bench, and walked toward the pier. Suddenly, Harry stopped and said,"Laura, I love you so much. When I first saw you, I knew you were the one for me." I was holding back tears by now. He continued and said,"If I had to choose between loving you and living, I would use my last breath to say I love you." I couldn't say anything at all. He grabbed me into a hug and said,"You'll always be safe in my arms." He leaned back and locked his green eyes with my bright blues. He ran his fingers through my long brown hair, never breaking his gaze. He came closer to me. I could feel my heartbeat getting faster, and the butterflies in my stomach were going insane. He kissed me. It was so deep and meaningful. He put his hands on the back of my neck and gently pulled away. He looked me in the eyes again. I could feel my stomach starting to hurt. I knew something was wrong.
