Ashlynn's POV.
I woke up the next morning to my alarm going off and with the nervous nausea that comes with a first day of a new job. I got up showered, did my hair and make up, got dressed, made myself some waffles, and grabbed my bag and camera and was out the door. I was excited for such an amazing opportunity like this, I love taking pictures; I even love taking photos of couples way more.
Something about the love they captured, I could always tell who loved each other in more and who had secrets or not. The eyes hide a lot and as a photographer you grow attached to your subjects and their stories in hopes of being able to capture them correctly.
I love taking pictures of couples most because it gives me some kind of hope. After all the drama of my parents and my ex boyfriend that I left in Texas...I slowly stopped believing in the idea of a true love and people being sincere.
I made my way down the streets of London till I saw the tall gray office bulding that I would soon become beyond attached too! I walked in through the slidey doors and slipped my way into the elevator and hit the number 8. As soon as the slidey doors opened, I saw it. The place I have been dreaming of; the place I had hoped would save me. 'Your London Wedding Magazine' headquarters. A part of me felt our of place like Anne Hathaway in the Devil Wear Prada. I was determined to find my place here though.
I approached the front desk and my words and eyes met with a beautiful receptionist named Mary, " Hi, Welcome to YLWM; how can I help you? she asked.
" Yes' I'm Ashlynn Martinez and I was just offered a job here as junior assistant!" I replied happily with!
" Ah, YES! We have been waiting for the American! WELCOME! Shannon showed everyone in the office your work! We were all so impressed! You'll fit in great here!" She said to me as I she was walking me to Mrs. Madison's ( AKA-Shannon) office. I was at this point not calm at all!
'Shannon, Texas is here!" She said after knocking for permission to be let it!
" AH! Texas we have been waiting for you! I am soo soo glad to be able to add you on my team" She was so excited...something tells me I am going to be just fine here.
