Goodnight Moon.

Harry's POV.

After checking on Ash and El downstairs and saying my good nights to everyone I went upstairs and crawled in the California king sized bed. I layed there in my thoughts wondering how I was going to talk to Ashlynn. Then she walked in. My body snapped up and I stared at her, she was the most beautiful girl in the world. She was wearing her pajama shorts and my teenage runaway sweatshirt.

"Sorry..I didn't mean to wake you!" She said apologetically.

"You didn't love! I was just getting comfy!" I told her causing her to smile. She walked into the restroom to wash her face and to brush her teeth and take her contacts off. She was so cute when she did these normal things. I just couldn't get enough of her.

"Harry, is Eleanor alright?" she asked me as she put her glasses on.

"Of course she is love, why do you ask?" I asked her.

" I don't know she just seemed a little bit off is all." She said as she took my sweatshirt off leaving her in a blue tank top.

"She's ohkay babe. Sometimes when she gets her weird feelings she seems off but it's just because she's worried." i told her trying to calm her nerve about Eleanor.

"Oh." she said as she nodded and pulled the blankets back and climbed in bed next to. "Are we ohkay?" she now asked.

"I hope so..but we do need to talk about a few things. " I told her causing her calm face turn into a worried one. She then turned to face me letting me know that she was listening.

"I'm sorry about how I acted yesterday at the office. I realized after the ordeal that I didn't have much of a reaction. Which probably made you feel like it wasn't all that big of a deal and I wasn't proud of you but I am. And I'm sorry about ignoring you when the paps came into play. I'm not used to having to i guess protect someone when it comes to them. Just myself. I should have held your hand and walked you through it. But for the record I think you handled it very well." I kept talking when I noticed she really was listening to me and she hadn't interrupted me once. I had her full attention which I adored. " I should have asked you if you were ohkay after especially after some of the things they said..but I didn't and again I'm sorry." I looked down now feeling even guiltier.

"It's alright babe. It's over now. That was yesterday. We got through it and I'm fine. You're right I wish you would have done all the things you said but I understand it takes some getting used to again when settling in to a new relationship. " she told me. How was she so kind about everything? When I deserved to be slapped she kissed me instead. It didn't make any sense. But I loved it. Now I had to drop the big bomb.

Ashlynn's POV.


"It's alright babe. It's over now. That was yesterday. We got through it and I'm fine. You're right I wish you would have done all the things you said but I understand it takes some getting used to again when settling in to a new relationship. " I told him. I needed him to know that I was here for him. That I understood his work wasn't always easy and they it put him in tough situations but as long as we talked it all out and were honest with each other. We would be fine. I began kissing him when he pulled away leaving me confused...

"There's more.." he told me. Now my heart was beating quicker.

"More what? What else could there possibly be?" I asked him now very nervous.

"Management had me do a PR stunt today.." he began..

"Oh..go on." I said to him now listening even more intently.

" When I got to New York I had to go meet Kendall Jenner at her hotel and take her to a nice lunch and after we walked back to the studio together. She's been having a lot of bad press lately and they needed to turn the attention somewhere else.." he told me leaving me a bit realieved that that was all he had to tell me and a little frustrated that they had to choose my boyfriend to play house with some slut.

"Ohkay...so were does that leave us?" I asked him.

"Uhm..until Paul figures all of this out..It leaves us private." his words burned a bit... more like alot. Private...what did that mean? That we couldn't be seen out in public together...that I couldn't wear his t shirts anymore? That I had to lie to the world? That I couldn't hang out with my best friends anymore in public?

"Ohkay..." I said to him quieter then before.

"Are you mad?" he asked me.

"I mean Harry. I'm not happy about it but I guess I signed up for this. Your job comes first so I understand, It's just work..right?" I asked him making sure it was all strictly work.

"Yeah babe...that's all it is." he told me.

"Does she know that...?" I asked him now grilling him with questions.

"Yes.. she knows we are dating and everything I told her today." he told me bringing me a smile.

"And nothing happened between you both today?" I asked him having to make sure..

"uh..of course not baby." he told me stuttering a bit.

"Ohkay then..I guess I have to deal with it then." I told him.

"Thank you for being so understanding." He told me as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

Little did he know this killed me inside. I was doing my best to be understanding but it wasn't easy. I can't wait for the day when I actually feel good enough for Harry Styles. He sang me to sleep and instead of enjoying it I couldn't get the idea of that slut and my boyfriend out of my mind.
