Harry's POV.

I got upstairs to mine and Ashlynn's room. El and Lou were nice enough to let us have the master this weekend because it was Ashlynn's birthday! thankfully because that girl took up so much room on the bed even when she was right next to me. I was settling in and unpacking my bag when I heard a knock at the door. I turned around to see Niall.

"Hey man, how ya doin?" he asked knowing I had a thousand things on my mind.

"Eh...I'm alright. Just stressed about talking to Ash. I don't know how she's going to react but whatever. How are you man? We haven't talked much since you've gotten back! How was your family?" I asked him trying to change the subject.

"They were good, you never realize how much ya miss em till you gotta say bye to em again, ya know? Theo's gettin so big bro it's crazy... Don't worry about Ashlynn...I haven't really gotten a chance to talk to her much at all cause I've been gone. But just from the quick hello she gave me, she seems understanding. Just be honest with her mate. If she can't accept that then it wasn't meant to be. Ya know?" Niall said. He was so wise and I was so lucky to have him as my best mate. I nodded agreeing with him knowing what he was saying as he started to walk out.

"Oh, one more thing Harry.." he said to me as I gave him my full attention turning my head to him. "Can you maybe help a brother out..Ashlynn's friend..that Jayci girl...she's beautiful. Do you know if she's single?" he asked me causing a smile to grow on my face.

"As far as I know bro she is but I'll put in a good word and talk to Ash about it!" I told him reassuringly. Niall was a great guy and any girl would be lucky to know him.

"Thanks Harold! You're the best." He said to me with a wide grin as he walked away.

I needed to figure out a way to talk to Ashlynn about all of this. Maybe I would tell her tonight when we were getting ready for bed. Away from everyone else.

Ashlynn's POV.


Harry had been upstairs for a while but I saw Niall follow him over there so I was going to leave them to have there bro time. I still haven't had much of a chance to talk to Niall and I wanted to talk to him soon enough putting in a good word for Jayci. She was so into him. It had been about 10 minutes when I decided to go upstairs to check on them. I was walking up the stairs as Niall was walking out of our room!

"Hey Ashlynn! I'm Niall, I know we haven't officially met yet but I'm Harry's best mate and I'm glad you have made such a huge impact on everyone! " He said to me as he pulled me in for a hug!

"Hi! Yes, It's so so so great to finally meet you! Harry talks about you constantly! I hope we can be great friends!" I told him meaning every word.

" You know we will be! I'm glad your with Harry, he deserves to be with a great girl like you! Not to mention you're beautiful and he's head over heels for ya!" he told me and those honestly were the nicest words I had heard in days!

"Thank you so much! That means so much I don't even think you realize...Hey Niall, I don't know if you're dating anyone or seeing anyone or whatever. But, my friend Jayci is here and I think she is kind of starting to feel a bit left out since everyone has a boyfriend here and I figured... that since you, ya know are al-" He cut me off and finished my sentence.

"Also single you want me to hang with her this weekend? Don't have to tell me twice. I was hoping she was single anyway...she's beautiful." He said making me smile again. Jayci deserved to be with a great guy like Niall. I didn't know him all that well but Harry was constantly saying he was the best guy he knew!

"Thank you so much. You kids have fun! I'm going to catch up with my lovely boyfriend." I said to him as I began to walk away!

"Alright have fun! You kids be good!" he told me as he made his way back downstairs.

I walked into our temporary bedroom to find it empty then to hear the water on in the shower where Harry must have been. I knew he was tired. They all were. And honestly I was too. I changed into my pajamas and went back downstairs to see what everyone was doing.

"Hi loves, what are we doing?" I asked everyone as I sat into Jayci's lap.

"We are about to play scrabble, wanna play?" Liam asked.

"No thanks, I think I will just observe instead!" I told them now searching the room for El.

"Suit yourself. If you're looking for El she is in our bedroom changing!" Lou told me.

I got up from the couch and went to see El in her room sitting on the bed staring at the wall.

'Hey you, you alright?" I asked her as I sat in front of her.

"Yeah, I'm ok. Just having one of my feelings." she informed me. As cool as I thought El's feelings were and as weird as they were..they stilled worried me a bit.

"What kind of feeling is it El?" I asked her no curious.

"Pain. Not physical pain..but like pain in the heart. I just don't know who it will be. Who knows though...maybe it's the rum." She said now laughing pulling herself out of serious mode.

"How are you and Harry? Have y'all talked?" she asked me.

"I don't know. He's in the shower. I haven't talked to him since he went upstairs. " I told her causing her to nod worriedly.

"Hey El..thank you so much for putting this weekend together. It really means a lot to me and thank you for bringing Jayci here..I missed her so much and with her here I feel like it's all complete. " I told her as I grabbed her hand.

" You're my best friend..I would do anything for you. You're welcome though...Hey tomorrow morning want to get up early and make breakfast and read our article..just the two of us?!" she asked me. I forget we still hadn't read the article in YLWM. I was even more excited now.

"Yeah, I would love that! I'm all excited now! What are we going to make for breakf-" I began talking to be soon cut off by a double knock on the door and to see my green eyed boy walk in standing next to me.

"Hey El! You ok?" he asked her.

'Yeah, I'm alright. Are you ok?" She asked him.

"I think so." he said to her. I watched them back and forth...they had this best friend telepathy thing going on and I could see straight through it. She nodded her head as she heard Harry. He then looked towards me and placed his hand on my leg.

"Hey babe, I'm exhausted. I think I'm going to turn in soon." He said to me.

"Me too..I'll be up soon. Ok?" I told him now looking up at him smiling.

"Ohkay." He said to me as he kissed my forehead and walked out of the room and up the stairs.

"You know you make him so happy. I can just see it. " Eleanor told me. I had been hearing that a lot lately. As much as I wanted to believe it I just felt like he was so unhappy with me.

'Well he makes me happy." I said to her thinking about the green eyed boy I was so fond of.

"Go to bed..y'all need to talk anyway. I think I'm going to pass out here soon anyway!" She said to me.

'Ohkay. Goodnight! I love you El!" I told her as I wrapped my arms around her hugging her.

"Night Ash, I love you too!" she said as she hugged me back.

I said goodnight to everyone else in the main room and gave my round of hugs and thanked them all for being here before I went upstairs. As I was walking up the stairs I started thinking about how lucky I was to have such a beautiful group of friends. I was beyond blessed.
