So many thoughts.
Ashlynn's POV.
Eleanor, Louis, Harry, and I walked off the elevator and into the office where I worked. Everyone saw El and I and began clapping. We grabbed each others hands and walked back towards Shannon's office with the boys following us from behind. We knocked and she let us in with Don already in the office as if they knew we were going to show up at that exact moment.
"JUST THE GIRLS WE WANTED TO SEE! CONGRATULATIONS YOU TWO!" Don yelled at us in joy bring us each in for a hug after closing the door leaving the boys out in the hall.
"Thank you! We are both totally ecstatic and happy about all of this...but why were we on the cover?" I asked them wanting to know what really happened.
"Well Don had already had a cover picked out..but then he saw the photos of Eleanor and loved them more. He chose his favorite and we made it the cover. We didn't do any work to it then what you had already done...it was flawless. It's everything this magazine is about. You really impressed us Ashlynn and I am so pleased with both of yalls hard work." Shannon stated to us.
"Yes, and I would like to officially invite you on for a full time job here at YLWM, not just the 16 week internship. You deserve this, and you have free rights to your shoots. You make your own hours as long as you get your work turned in on time and you get to choose your own models. We trust you and you have proved to us what you are capable of. The offer is there, just think about it. You don't have to make any big decisions right now." Don told me leaving me even more stunned as he walked out the door.
Honestly I was beyond honored..but I was scared. This job offer would keep me in London..forever. This is my dream job but what about my mom and Jayci and my sister...where did that leave them? This wasn't a part of the plan.
Shannon left Eleanor and I in the office alone with our thoughts. "Are you alright..?" She asked me knowing that this decision would affect just more than me.
"Yeah.." I nodded my head still stunned at what had just happened.."It's just a really big deal, ya know? I've been here for a week and my life has changed more than I could ever have imagined..it is still just a whole lot to take in." I said teary eyed at how blessed and scared I was.
"I know it is, but this is a huge opportunity. You deserved this job offer Ash" she said to me as she sat next to me on the small couch Shannon had in her office. "Just take some time to think about it and if you need to talk about it, ya know I'm here. But I don't want you to worry about it too much now. We have a big weekend ahead of us!" she told me now holding my hand.
"You're right. Thank you."I said to her as we stood up about to walk out of the office to meet back up with the boys.."Hey El, can we not tell Harry about this yet? I just need to figure this one out by myself first." I asked her.
"Ofcourse, I understand. My lips are sealed. " she said to me reassuringly!
We walked out of the office meeting back up with the boys.
"HEY! What did they say?!" Harry asked me.
I looked to Eleanor hoping she would take this one. "They said they loved Ashlynn's photos more than the original cover that they changed it last minute!" she said to them grabbing Louis' hand!
"Baby! That's awesome! I'm so proud of you girls!" Louis said to us as he kissed Eleanor's cheek! Harry for some odd reason not really being affectionate towards me much at all, just very large smiles.
When we walked into the elevator he wrapped his arm around my neck and kissed my temple making me weak at my knees. As soon as the elevator opened he let go and walked in front of me making his way towards the door. I looked toward El with a confused look and she gave me the " I don't know what his problem is" look back. Honest truth, I didn't either.
When we got to the London streets our calm strides to Louis' car now became quicker faster strides as we were being followed by multiple men with cameras. Eleanor pulled away from Lou and she came to my side grabbing my hand knowing I had never dealt with this before. "Just keep your head down and stay close to me...all they want is a good photo." she told me in my ear. "You and Harry need to talk about this when you both get back to his flat." she also told me leading me to nod at her words.
"Eleanor, CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR COVER!" "Eleanor who's your friend?!" "SHE'S FAT." "Is that the photographer?" "Harry, Louis way to protect the girls!" "Girl, what's your name?!"
"What's with the huge bruise on your arm? Did you and Harry get rough last night?!"
The last voice I heard that commented on my bruise led me to grab my shirt sleeve and pull it down some.. I didn't even realize I had one their till he mentioned it. Then again, how could I even see it? It was on the back of my arm! We got into Louis' car when Eleanor asked " Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. Thank you for having the decency to ask." I said pointing my words to Harry for not even asking if I was fine. Harry then gave me a disappointed look at himself face.
"Hey Lou, will you drop me off at my place pretty please?" I asked him. I needed to get away from harry for a bit.
"Sure thing love!" not two minutes later we pulled up to my building. "Thank you!" I said getting out of the car giving Eleanor the "I'll call you later" look.
"Here wait, I'll walk you up" Harry said to me unbuckling his seat belt.
"Don't bother. I got it. " as I said to him closing the door.
I swiftly made my way up the stairs to my apartment and let out a sigh of relief when I finally unlocked my door throwing myself onto my new blue couch. I had a lot to think about. This job offer. The paparazzi. Harry & I's relationship. So many thoughts.
