You & I

NIALL's POV

I walk into the nursery to see Harry holding my son. I clear my throat. He turns around.

"Hey," he whispers with tears in his eyes.

"Hey, you ok?" I ask him. He smiles and shakes his head.

I walk over to him and take the sleeping baby out of his arms. He struggles getting him off of his chest.

"Where's Sky?" I ask him.

"R-resting," He mumbles. I nod my head and leave him in the room by himself. Harry is still my family but I just don't feel comfortable around my son yet. I walk into my room to see Sky passed out under the covers. I smile as I rub her cheek. She squints her nose and her eyes slowly open.

"Hey," She whispers.

"Hey, everyone is here. I was thinking we can announce the munchkin's name," I suggest. She nods her head and slowly swings her feet over the side of the bed. She stands up and kiss my cheek and kisses the baby's forehead. She smiles before making her way to our bathroom.

"So... you left him with Harry?" I ask as she brushes her teeth. She walks over to my view and nods her head.

"Sky, I know he's family but I just don't want him around our son to much," I tell her. She rolls her eyes and makes her way back to the sink.

After several minutes she comes back into the room with a new hairdo and her makeup redone.

"We will finish this conversation later," She snaps before walking out of the door. I shake my head and follow her.

"Alright! Everyone gather around!" Sky shouts. Everyone suddenly gets silent and walks over to us forming a circle.


SAMMY's POV

"Mrs, Jefferies, hi," I greet her.

"How are you sweetie? It feels like we haven't talked in years!" she says in a high pithed voice.

"Well it has been almost a year. I've been good though, you know considering everything," I tell her. She smiles.

"For the record, Sky never meant to hurt you. After the... the miscarriage she told me the whole story," She tells me. I nod my head.

"She tore herself up thinking about how badly she screwed up," She tells me. I scratch my nose and look to the ground.

"I just think you and her should sit down for lunch and talk about everything," She suggests.

"Alright! Everyone gather around!" Sky shouted. I mentally praised her from pulling me out of this awkward conversation. I quickly walk to her and Niall. Once everyone is surrounding them we all get silent.

"Sky and I are ready to announce our son's name," Niall says.

"His name is..." Sky says.

"MASON HORAN!" they shout together causing the baby to jump in Niall's arms. We all "aw" and cheer.

"Mason," I whisper to myself.

"Nice name right?" I hear a raspy voice ask. I turn my body to see who the voice belongs to.

"Ya," I whisper.

He walks closer to me and stares down into my eyes. I look up at him and just stand there perfectly still.

He leans down.

"Don't move," He whispers. Chills run down my spine.

He comes closer and lifts my chin. His lips hover over mine without touching. I breath heavily.

"Do it," I dare him. He smiles and stares into my eyes. Before I knew it our mouths were attached. Our tongues dancing together.

"There's a guest room two doors up from the nursery," Dani whispers into our ears.

"Wanna leave the crowd?" Harry asks me. I pause for a second.

"No," I whisper and run off to god knows where. I just ran to where ever my legs brought me.

Why do I constantly put myself into situations that can hurt me?

"Not in a sex mood?" I hear a voice fill the room I was hiding in. I turned my body to the door to see a familiar face. A face that I wasn't really expecting.
