You & I

HARRY's POV

I drove to the place that Sammy described to me. I heard sirens but didn't see any flashing lights. I ran out of my car heading to the car that was in flames. I realized that wasn't Niall's car because when I turned around I sound two girls that I once loved on the ground.

"God Dammit! Where the hell are the EMT's?!" I yell as I drop to the ground and try to aid Sky.

"Harry, I'll watch her! You-You g-go help N-Ni-Niall!" She yells in between sobs. I nod my head and kiss Sky's forehead before sprinting to Niall's side. I kick the window open.

The sight of my best friend almost killed me.

"Excuse me sir, Excuse me. You need to step away from the vehicle. We have professionals. Sir we need you to move," A man kept repeating to me as he pulled me away from my mate's body. I stood up and searched for Sky and Sammy.

"The pregnant woman, where is she? And the girl with blue hair? Where are they?" I ask.

"In a bus," The officer simply replied.

"A bus?" I ask.

"An EMT, we call them buses. Don't worry, they're on their way to the hospital. Are you ok sir?" The man asks me.

"Yes, I'm just friend that was just up the street," I respond as I watch several men trying to take Niall out of the car.

Redness.

Blood.

Blood is all I see on a too familiar body.

Niall's body.


SAMMY's POV

"Is she gonna be ok?" I ask the man that sits in the ambulance truck with me and Sky.

"I'm not sure at this point. I do know her water broke and that baby is coming!" He says frantically.

I grab Sky's hand.

"Look, I know I'm not much of a believer but I really need you right now. People say you work miracles, I'm in need of one... three actually. I really need Sky to pull through this =. I really need her to stay alive. Her baby too. I don't if it's a boy or a girl but please... please let the baby be healthy. One more, Niall. Please God, please. I beg of you," I whisper into Sky's hand with tears rushing down my face.

"Please let Niall be ok," I finally say with a sob at the end.

"We're here. I promise I will do everything I can for her," the man tells me. I nod my head and exit the car. Several men come to the back and unload Sky out. They pull the wheels out and rush her into the hospital.

A nurse come sup to me and grabs my shoulders.

"We're gonna take care of her. I need you to wait in this room," She leads me into a room. Look's like a nursery kinda.

"They're taking her to the ER. We have to make sure she's ok before we deliver the baby," She tells me. She gives me some scrubs. I didn't realize there was so much blood on me. I nod my head slowly. She smiles before leaving me to myself. I sit in the chair frozen, in complete shock. If Sky dies... the last thing I said to her was, "I hate you." I let more tears stain my cheeks before I finally decide that I need to change my clothes.

As I pull my shirt off I hear the door open.

"Sammy I- Oh sorry," I hear a familiar raspy voice say.

"It's fine, nothing you haven't seen before," I call back. He opens the door and quickly comes in.

"They made you change too," He said as he noticed my scrubs. I turn around to see a crying Harry.

He was also in scrubs.

"H-How's N-Niall?" I ask.

'Don't know. They wouldn't tell me anything. How's Sky and the... the b- the baby," He responds as he chokes on the word "baby."

"Same, they don't know yet. Her water broke though," I respond. He shakes his head and sits down.

I watch him let tears tip toe down his face and straight onto his shirt. I guess his tears brought tears to my eyes because I caught myself drying my face.

"I'm sorry," I whisper.

"I'm sorry," He says back as he slowly lifts his head. I run to him and crawl onto his lap. I rest my head on his chest and cry. He brushes his fingers through my blue hair and shushes me like a baby. I didn't care though. I just wanted everything to finally be ok.

"Hi, I'm Dr. Shannon. Are you guys family of Sky Edwards or Niall Horan?" He asks Harry and I.

"Yes-"

"No," I cut Harry off.

"We are not family but Hrry and Niall are bandmates, they're like brothers. Sky is my b-bestfriend. We grew up together. She's practically my sis-my sister," I admit.

"Thank you for your honesty. In return I have news on them. Niall is recovering from his emergency surgery. We operated on his knee, his left arm, his kidney, and his humor," The doctor tells us.

"Excuse me?" I say.

"That boy, he's already awake. Taking the pain like a real man, he is some how cracking up jokes, it could be the meds talking though," The doctor laughs. I smile.

"Sky is going to be ok. A couple of broken bones and damaged muscles but nothing that will kill her," HE says.

"The baby?" Harry asks.

"The baby was delivered healthy. Had some complications so we did an emergency C section. He's as healthy as any other baby here tonight," He smiles to us.

"He? It's a boy?" I ask.

"Yes. Niall just got to hold him. SKy is still resting so we figured he needed to be with of his parents. How come all this is surprising news to you?'' The doc asks.

"Cause it is! We had no idea how everything was going to turn out," Harry shouts in a happy voice.

"Wait, the nurse didn't come in here to get your approval on everything we did?" He asks.

"No?" I respond.

"If you'll excuse me please. Niall is in room 677," The doctor says before walking out.

I jump off of Harry's lap and shriek.

"Thank you," I whisper into my hands.

Harry grabs my hand and we race to Niall's room.

We knock and quickly barge in.

My jaw drops at the sight of the cutest baby in the entire world.
