Late

Thomas sits above me. I dry myself and sit up.
"Thomas…" I whisper
"yes, Lucy"
"my thought… I'm thirsty" I slowly say
"I will see if the doctor has any water" he says runny out to help my needs.

i rest on the floor when in the distance I hear coughing. I try to stand up but I'm weak in the knees. I fall and land hard on my back.
"Thomas! Thomas come help me!"
no answer
"THOMAS!" I scream
"what?!" I quietly hear in the distance but he is yelling
"I fell!"
I hear his foot steps when i hear the coughing again. He runs in the door. His hair is in nots and his shirt has tons of dirt on it.
I moan, soft to loudly.
" Dose your back hurt? Are you ok?" He yells
"no, no, 'no! I tried to stand up and I fell backwards!"
"…don't touch her" the doctor says walking in.
"Now tell me what's the problem"
she is very calm… she makes me calm. I look at her ID " Carrie Vandore"
" I tried to stand up and I fell over"
"we're was this little shit at when this happened?" She said pointing to Thomas
"he went to get me water. I was thirsty after crying
"your dehydrated. We need to find you water or soon your kidneys will catch up to you. Lil' shit help me put her on a bed" they grab my legs and arms and carry me out the room when I get the last look at my dead father. They walk me over to the next room.

" Go down to the lobby and see if you can find any water" dr. Vandore says
"ok"
he runs out, his hair flipped from one side to the other.
"do you need anything?" She asked me
"no. I just need water"
my lips stick together as I try to speak.
"I'm going to go look in the break room for boodles of water. If you need help just shout out"

i sit in the shadowy room. The day gets darker, and so dose life. I wait, lifeless in bed. I hear Thomas come up.
"Nothing!" He yells
Nothing.
