Late

I wake up in a dark room.
"Hello?…" I whisper "HELLO?" I then yell.
I look over my sit up from the bed that I was rested in. I turn my head and see my father sleeping.
"Hey!" I yell. He sits up.I hear footstep learning in from the forint of the room. It's the doctor.
"…I'm sorry…" she says when I start to cry…but just a little.
"But the good news is, we know what killed her" I start to cry harder.
"…and… *sniffle* what wa-as th-th-at?"
" I took some of her blood. I look at it through the microscope. I found the same disease that Harry has"
" plague?"
"yes, but I found something else…"
i stop crying and became interested
"and what was that?"
" I have never scene it before. But all I know is that I takes the other germs and reproduces with them to make the disease 2x worse than it is"
"do you know exactly what it dose?"
" Not all the way. But what I did notice is that it rapidly kills the healthy blood cells"
"how did you find that out?"
" Because, my patients, like Harry, are getting pail. Their heart also pumps less and their blood pressure went down"
"but if their is a cure for the plague, then why don't you give them that and then start from there"
"I know it sounds easy like that , but since it reproduces it has got much worse"
"why can't you use your equipment?"
"because of the storm we had yesterday. A struck of lightning put us out… and every hid from the disease… so no one could help"
"what about the emergency fuel"
"that's why we didn't use the elevator, so we don't wast the fule"
"that makes sence.
