Batman Fanfics

Magpie's POV: My plan went perfectly. I got my pretty, and got away scott free. I put it with all my other pretties, and let all my goons into my room. "What now?" One asked. "We can't pull that again, Batman would be to suspicious. Next time, well, I'm not sure. I just don't know. Maybe we could hang out a while until somethin' real bad happens, then we can attack, and they might not even notice." I plan. "Good idea, boss, but, who knows when something bad'll happen?" One asks. I hate to admit it, but he's right. What can I do? Being so obsessed with all the pretties is sometimes the worst. I guess I'll stay away until I think of a good plan.

Bruce Wayne's POV: I walk downstairs and see Barbara and Damian asleep at the table. I guess all the work took its toll on them. I don't think it's fair how I've been pawning my responsibility off on them. I guess tonight I'll be Batman, and I guess I'll be alone. That doesn't bother me, though. If I can trust anyone, it's myself. I look up Arkham's inmates, and see who's missing. The list is long, which doesn't surprise me. Bane, Black Mask, Harley Quinn, Joker, Magpie, Poison Ivy, Riddler, and various other people. Next I check Blackgate, and look for any big names. Catwoman. Next I check for releases. Mister Freeze, because of me, Gaggy, and... and... I am in total shock of the next name on the list.

Tim Drake's POV: I just got back to Wayne Manor, the time is 9:30 AM, so I sneak back to bed. Tonight is the interview with Ms. Vale, so I'm nervous about that. Until we get our side out, Bruce banned us from crime fighting. He says it'll ruin Dick and I's reputation more. I started to think, would I really care? I didn't even really want to be Robin in the beginning, but I had no choice. Then when we thought Bruce died, I tried to stay away from Gotham, but with no luck. Now it could all end for me. I could admit to freeing the criminals, and say Dick had no part in it. My crime fighting days will be over, and I could spend more time with Stef. I know she hates it that I can fight crime. So far, I see more pros than cons. What did Bruce ever do for me? I'm the one who helped him, so it's not like I owe him or anything. I would talk to Bruce about it, but he wouldn't respond, and he wouldn't show any emotion. This "job" took the life of my friends, and my family, and not to mention me! I can't be a normal kid. The escape is so easy. I'll admit, then go into hiding. After all, I was taught by the best. Should I?

Commissioner Gordon's POV: I'm sitting at my desk working on some papers. So far, the day has been pretty easy. Usually I work with Batman, well, he works with me, but I haven't seen him. That's okay, though, Batman is a strange man, so it doesn't alarm me if he doesn't show up. He still has all hus recruits out, so its not like he abandoned Gotham. How does one work with Batman? Like, how does he choose who works with him or not? Whatever, I stopped trying to find out who Batman is because of alk the good he did. I trust him, so I don't need to know who he is. "Commissioner Gordon?" My Secretary, Bonnie, says. I look up. "A package." She says. "Put it on my desk." I say, and she comes in, puts it on my desk, and leaves. "Hmm, no return address or anything? Strange." I say to myself. I open the box, and find a book. Slowly, I pick up the book, and open it. Inside were pictures of the Bat Family. I quickly flip through all the pages, and a lof of dust flies off the pages. I cough, and notice the white dust, it didn't look natural. Slowly, I began to lose conconsciousness.
