I Understand. An AU/punk story.

I slept some last night, Harry snored the night away though. I was nervous about the conversation we would have later... He woke up a little while after groaning and cursing. As soon as he sensed my presence he look uneasily at me.

"I'm sorry..." He said awkwardly. "I don't know why I called you. Niall was with me." He says scratching his head.

"It's fine... I'm just glad you're OK." I mumble, sitting up.

"I went by the house yesterday, I think we should talk, Lilian." He says sitting up next to me. I play with my fingers and let him talk. "Why did you run out the other day on me, baby?" His voice is flooded with concern, he takes my chin in his hand and tilts it up. "I don't understand."

"Why do you think?" I whine back, turning away from him. ''I was embarrassed!" I tell him helplessly.

"Why? Because of the whole sex thing?" He asks outraged. I shrug my shoulders and drop my head. "Lily, I don't care if you say no! I don't like or want sex more than you. If you don't want to it's fine!" He reassures me with a light smile. I look in to his eyes, I know hes telling the truth. "But I do wish I would know whats stopping you." He admits.

How do I tell him? Sorry Harry but I'm in love with your best friend too? No, I don't think so... "We aren't dating, so I don't think its a good idea." I lie, looking away. He can always tell when i'm lying.

"Well, that'e pretty easy to change." He chuckles, his hands find my waist, his lips graze my shoulder.

"Harry, we broke up. We tried it and it didn't work." I say quickly, pulling my shoulder away from him.

"It's Louis isn't it?" He spits. I shake my head and get up from his bed.

"I'm not going to fight with you Harry." I finish. Pulling on my heels that sat on the floor next to the bed.

"Whatever. Fine by me." He snaps, getting up he storms to the bathroom and slams it, locking it behind him. I stand there for a few moments, thinking about what just happened. Why was it always so difficult between us? Oh yeah, its because I'm an idiot! I scold myself mentally and leave his place after picking up Perrie's keys from the night stand.

Slumping down on my couch, I turned on the news and pouted. The girls were gone so it was just me. I was bored. I mean not only with my day but with my life. What now? No boyfriend, no collage, no good job. What was I going to do with myself? It was an exhausting thought in which I pondered on until I pulled my phone out.

"Hello?"

"Hey, Lou." I chirp, I smiling from hearing his voice. "What are you up to?

"Just got home."

"Wanna hang out?" I offers. This is what I need, some good old fashioned cheer up time with Louis.

"Umm, gee. I really can't at the moment." He says awkwardly. Alright?

"Oh, OK. Catch you later I guess." I say, disappointed.

"Yeah, bye." He rushes, hanging up on me. What the hell was that? Louis always loved spending time with me....

I stayed at home until Perri came home with Zayn.

"Hows it going, grape?" Zayn laughs, roughing my hair before joining me on the couch.

"Just lounging." I smile, coming out of my hole of comfort a little bit to converse.

"Well, any plans tonight?" He asks with a wink.

"No.. I was going to hang out with Louis but he didn't want to." I frown, I see Perrie pick her head up in the kitchen out of the corner of my eye. I turn to her and she quickly looks away.

"Well why don't you go out with us? We're going to an actual club down town. A hot one too.'' Zayn interrupts the weird little exchange. I think about it.. should I really be going out and partying again?

"I don know..." I trail off.

"We'll watch you, don't worry it'll be fun!" Perrie insists. I sigh and pull my hair away from my face, stretching my legs...

"I guess...." I conclude. They give my big smiles and P and and I go to our rooms to get ready.

"Damn!" Perri gushed when she saw me. I blushed.


"You look amazing too!" I gushed at her hot pink mini dress. Zayn's face lit up when he saw her. It was the cutest sight. Yeah, I was a mega third wheel tonight.

We drove to the club, me all awkward and what not in the backseat. Arriving, I was stunned. It was pretty big, flashing lights and a long line out front.

"How are we going to get in?" I asked nervously to Zayn who handed his keys to the valet, we walked the front door and he just smiled at me in response. Before he reached the door he wrapped an arm around my waist and one around Perrie's. Pulling us along with the biggest smirk on his face. People parting for us. He got the same response from people as Harry did when we went out. The bouncer gave him one look and practically leapt to the side.

Going in to the club it was noisy and crowded, a few guys gave me some crude comments which I ignored. Zayn caught some jerk off call my a sexy bitch and flipped.

"Hey watch your self little boy, that's Harry and Louis's girl!" He snapped. I never did see that guy again. Not gonna lie though. I was a little surprised at the label he gave me. We took a seat in a booth. We wern't talking very long before Perri nudged her head to the corner of the room.

And that's where I saw it. Louis and Mckenzie sucking each others tongues down each others throat. My jaw dropped. So that's why he was so busy.

I had to excuse myself. I couldn't stand watching the guy I love suck mouths with another woman.
