Fanfiction Guide And Covers!

To begin a story, you must have a plot to even begin one. A plot is what something is about. For example, this Cinderella is about a girl who would never be expected to be royal misses a royal shoe of hers. The prince returns it to her, and they love each other and happily ever after blah. Now, having a nice and original plot will help make a story do well. Here is a list of some plots that are just so overused that many people might even ignore it:
(By that, I mean come up with something more out of the box type of thing!)
1) The girl character doesn't know One Direction and then she meets one of the members unexpected and love each other forever.
- First of all, I would straight up punch someone in the face with this plot. Every girl knows One Direction or at least HEARD of them. They're everywhere! Magazines, social media, social networks, etc, etc, etc. Even someone may be talking about them! It gets so frustrating..
2) Innocent virgin girl meets hot sexy bad boy who is the leader of the most baddest gangs in town.
- So much of these stories. I can't deal with them anymore. The only ones I actually let slip by are Good Meets Bad, Bad Meets Evil, and 27 Tattoos!
3) One Direction loves the girl.. and I mean all 5/5 do.
- I thought that every boy had different likings towards a girl? Like one guy likes a girl who is smart and tall while the other guy likes short and athletic girls. No, apparently Liam likes whatever Harry likes as well as Louis and Zayn decided to tag along and then Niall was by Liam's side all along.
4) New girl in town.
- *laughs nervously* Oh I didn't mentally curse at the plot ..
5) Best friends become slightly more.
- A bit overused in my opinion.
6) Supernatural / Immortal Stories.
- Only 'The Beast' will I ever accept.
Either way, make something original!
Like, I know stories where twins exist and one of the guys confuse them so much and I know another where it's a Marcel one! CMON!!
(Those stories were Double Trouble by ArtsyFartsyGirl and Becoming Harry Styles by Jen Storm)
