Dead Memories

"Mom"

"Yes baby?"

"I'm home." I said as I walked into the kitchen where my mom was making spaghetti for dinner.

"I can see that. How was your first day at school?"

"It was good. I made some friends and they invited me to a party this Saturday. Do Aunt Janae and Uncle Juan still live here?"

"I believe so. I have their number in my phone. You can get it if you need it." With that I walked away. As soon as I got the number I called. After a few rings my uncle answered.


"Hey. Uncle Juan. It's Kieyla. Is Eliyah around? I have a question for her."

"Sure. Here she is." He said as he handed the phone to her.

"Hey Eliyah. Do you want to go to a party with me? It's on Saturday."

"Sure. Is this your number?"

"Yes ma'am"

"I'll call you after I talk to my mom about it okay?"

"Sounds fantastic. I'll talk to you later beautiful."

"Okay gorgeous. Haha bye."

"Bye." Then I hung up. If she could go it would be so much fun. When Eliyah and I are together we can raise some major hell. I hope the boys are ready.
