2 months later.

I was awoken to the sound of my alarm. It was 8am and I looked at my phone, there was a notification on my screen which read, "12 week scan today at 10.30am". I quickly ran out of bed excited for the appointment, I made my way downstairs to which I saw Louis sat on the sofa flicking through the t.v channels, he was on his own so I guess the others were still asleep. He noticed me stood there and patted his lap, signalling for me to sit with him. I walked over to him and sat onto his lap as he embraced me into his caressing arms.

"Morning beautiful."

"Morning Louis." I smiled.

"So, are you excited for today, because I can't wait!"

"Yeah I'm really excited, we finally get to meet our little one Louis!"

"I know darling, I've been up since 6 I just want to meet him or her noooooow!" He moaned.

"Haha so do I babe, but we've got a few hours to kill yet, why don't we go out and get some breakfast or something?" I asked.

"Yeah that'll be nice." He smiled as he placed one of his hands on my stomach. "Go in Lucy go and get changed and we'll go."

I climbed off his lap and made my way to the bedroom. I searched through my wardrobe for something nice to wear. Ah ha this is the outfit! I grabbed my clothes and placed them on the bed whilst I went to the bathroom to have quick shower. Once out of the shower I placed a towel around my body and returned to the bedroom, I quickly dried myself and firstly put on my underwear, as I was stood there half naked I couldn't help but notice the lack of bump, I'm 12 weeks gone but there's barely a bump insight, surely there should be something there by now? Putting my thoughts aside I slipped into my chosen outfit.




Once dressed I ran downstairs where Louis was waiting for me.

"You look beautiful Lucy." I blushed at Louis' comment.

we walked out of the front door and walked up the drive and got into Louis' car.

"so where should we go for some breakfast?" I asked.

"I'll let my beautiful girlfriend choose." Louis winked.

i grinned away at him. "How about Starbucks?" I asked.

"You're so predictable Lucy!" Louis laughed

We got to starbucks and parked up the car, we both climbed out and made our way to the door. Louis went over to the counter to order our food and drinks and I found a table for us both to sit at. As I sat there about 5 minutes later I saw Louis with our breakfast walking over to me, he sat down and handed me my frappuccino and bagel. I looked at the cup of my frappuccino in confusion as I could see Louis grinning to himself in the corner of my eyes.

"Louis, why does it say Dave on my cup?"

Louis erupted with laughter. "It must just be a spelling mistake." He winked.

I joined in in and began laughing, I swear he is the random person ever!

"Really Louis you said that my name is Dave?." I chuckled at my strange boyfriend.

"I thought you'd like it." He said winking at me again.

I shook my head whilst laughing at him, I picked up and looked at the time, it was 9:45, it was probably time for us to get heading to the doctors. We got back into the car and began to drive to the doctors. We both sang along to Ed Sheeran all the way to the doctors. Once we arrived we walked in and went over to the receptionist who was sat behind the counter staring at her computer screen, it was a different one to last time.

"Hello how may I help you?" She said kindly.

"I have an appointment for 10:15 for my 12 week scan, my names Lucy Forest." I replied.

"Okay if you could just go and take a seat in the waiting room and fill out this paper work and the doctor will be with you shortly." She handed me the paper and a pen and we went to sit down. Once I had finished filling out the paperwork I turned to Louis.

"I was looking at my stomach this morning, and I'm barely showing Louis." I said slightly worried.

"You're only 12 weeks gone Lucy, I wouldn't worry about it babe."

"I know but you'd think there be atleast a little bump there by now."

"Hm I guess, we'll ask the doctor when we go in for the sca..."

"Lucy Forest?" That was our call, we got up from our chairs, the nerves were slightly hitting me. Louis placed his hand I to mine and we both followed the nurse and walked into the doctors room.

"Ah hello Lucy it's nice to see you again! If you'd just like to lay on the bed for me please."

I did as I was told and got onto the bed. Louis sat in the chair next to me, his hand still placed firmly into mine.

"So how is everything going Lucy, have you had any problems or is everything all good?"

"Well we were just slightly concerned because her stomach doesn't seem to be showing yet." Louis answered for me.

"Well what you need to know is that everyone is different and everyone shows differently, Im sure everything is fine."

The doctors grabbed the gel from the the table and raised part of my jumper revealing my stomach. He placed the cold gel onto my stomach and began to scan the area. He talked us through everything and ensured us that the baby is a healthy size and that I would start showing properly in a matter of days. He got a clear image of the baby on the screen, we could hear his or hers little heartbeat, it was beautiful. My eyes began to water, this all felt so real now and I might be young but I couldn't be happier. I looked at Louis who was sat next to me who was bawling his eyes out."I..I...I.its be..e..eautiful" he managed to get his words out eventually. This was perfect and I can not wait to meet our beautiful baby.
