Chapter 9: Thoughts of Her (Harry’s P.O.V.)

I could have sworn that she heard me. I guess not, because she didn’t turn around and call her name back to me. The movies are so not true. My heart was crushed and I didn’t know what to do with myself.

“Hey,” a female voice called, “Wait a minute.”

I turned around to see a brunette come running from a store next to me. I prepared myself for her to start screaming about who I was so that I could get mauled by fans.

“Were you trying to get with her?”

Her question was abrupt and caught me slightly off guard, “…Y…Yeah.”

A large grin spread across her face, “I knew it!” She leapt up, “You need to get with Taylor.”

I blinked at her, taking in what she was saying. Then it clicked and I noted something else, “Her name is Taylor?”

She blinked back at me, “You don’t know her name?”

I shook my head ‘no’ in response. She smiled even more wickedly. “Her name is Taylor Williams. She is going to school at...”

She continued to ramble on and on about who Taylor was, where she went to school, and even where she lived. I took in all of it. It was rather creepy how this girl was telling me all of this about the red-haired girl.

I was happy that the odd brown haired girl had told me all about her friend now. I wanted so much to try and find her and speak to her, but I didn’t know how. Many people wouldn’t believe that I, the Harry Styles, couldn’t figure out what to say to a girl, but it was the absolute truth. I felt like, this is horrible, a virgin who just saw the goddess of his dreams. I’m not even sure what it was though. She looked the same as any other girl that I had met, but she was different. There was just something about her that called out to me. There was just something that made me want to get to know her.

I know that I am known as a playboy, and that I often want to get to know girls, but she was different. I didn’t just want to know her so we could have a fun night in each other’s pants, I wanted to know her as a person too. This is all that I could think about as I laid out in my bed.

“Hey Harry, you want some pizza?” Niall asked as he poked his head into my room.

I turned and shook my head at him, “No thanks, Niallers. I’m good.”

He paused, “Are you okay, mate?”

“Yeah,” I nodded my head, “just tired and thinking about taking a nap.”

“Oh alright,” he replied. “Get some rest and I’ll tell that others to leave you be.”

“Thanks,” was all I could manage to say before he was back out my door.

My room was instantly quiet again, which may not have been the greatest thing for me right now. Thoughts of her started to run through my head again as I rolled over onto my back. I gazed up at the ceiling, my mind completely lost to thought now as I whispered, “Taylor…”
