There's only one way

Daine smiled at all the boys, making two of them blush, and the mysterious one look away.

She frowned on one side of her mouth, what was with him?

"Nice ta meetcha." Said the blonde, Niall.

"Hiya." The one with the bedhead spoke, known as Louis.

The one Harry called "Zayn" Still didn't look at her.

Daine shrugged it off and raised her eyebrows, "It's nice to meet the lot of you. I'm Daine."

"Yea, we know. Liam's talked aboutcha quite a bit." Niall smirked at Liam, who's cheeks were starting to turn crimson.

"Oh yeah? What's he been sayin'?" She snickered at Liam, who was now rubbing the back of his neck, and seemed to be very interested in a pebble beside his right foot.

"Ah, not much. Just that you've been friends for a while. And that you're absolutely gorgeous. Can't say he was lying." Louis shrugged and smiled at her.

Harry smiled, "Anyways, why are you up so late, Daine?"

Daine lifted an eyebrow, "I don't ave a curfew."

His face flushed, "Oh...I.. didn't mean it like that it's just-"

"It's okay, I know you didn't."

Harry gave her a small smile in return, "Alright...thanks."

Liam rolled his eyes, "What are you doing here anyways?"

"Oh, I'm SORRY. I didn't realize that you men enjoyed each other's company so much that you didn't want me here. I'll be going then."

"No!!" All of them but Zayn spit out.

"Actually.." She laughed, "I do have to get home anyway. But, I might need someone to walk with me."

Louis jumped up, "I'll walk you home." He slipped him arm into the gap she had made with hers.

"Uh, alright." She waved to the other boys.

Louis walked her to her house, she stopped, "So about that comment earlier... did you mean that? About, Liam not lying about me?"

"Of course. You're really beautiful."

Daine blushed, "Thank you."

She glanced towards the door, "I should go."

"Yeah... probably." Louis nodded.

Before Daine went in Louis leaned down and kissed her on the cheek, "See you around."

He walked down the pathaway, a small spring in his step. Daine lifted her hand up to her cheek, how could she like him already? She just met him!!! She frowned, turning to the door. Daine put her hand on the knob and paused. She thought for moment, and turned it, going into her home.
