There's only one way
Chapter 1
Daine finally settled into her rough, hay bed that she had slept in every night since she was 13 years old. She slowly closed her eyes, hearing the clanging of the blacksmith's hammer in town, which wasn't far way from her family's small farm.
After a while of hearing he rhythmatic beating, she opened her hazel eyes and stuck her blonde bedhead out of her crooked window, still seeing the fire that he worked along beside at night. Why hadn't Liam gone to bed? It was probably something important. She slipped her brown knee length boots on that had molded to Daine's small feet, and her loose white shirt along with soft, dark green trousers, which fit her tiny, slender frame.
She stuck her leg out of her window and her feet touched the dewey grass that lay outside.
Daine was almost to the town when she heard loud laughter coming from the blacksmith, it sounded like a young man.
She approached the blacksmith rounding a building, she almost ran into a head of curls. He flipped his hair out of his light green eyes with his large hand, his eyes widened slightly when he saw Daine.
"Ello there." He smiled brightly, revealing the dimples in his cheeks.
"U-uh. Ello, I don't think we've met?" Daine smiled back, her eyes sparkling with the light that made her who she was.
The laugh rang out again from the blacksmith, this time a little louder.
"I'm Harry, I just moved here with 3 of my mates, we discovered the blacksmith was about our age so we decided to visit a bit."
"Oh, well, welcome to Yolgerhelm. I'm Daine."
The young man, Harry smiled at her, "Thank you, here, let me introduce you to my mates." He motioned for Daine to follow, he walked into the blacksmith with Daine following him. The laugh rang out, then cut off when Daine walked in behind Harry. One of them with rugged brown hair and blue eyes had his mouth open as if he wasn't finished saying something. One had his jaw forward and pushed his jet black hair away when she walked in, focusing his dark, mysterious eyes on her. The other, had stopped laughing and slowly closed his mouth. He had blonde feathered hair and light blue eyes that were laughing. Finally her eyes drifted to Liam, her childhood friend. An amused smile played upon his full lips, as he looked at the boys and as their eyes met at the same time. His brown puppy dog eyes were filled with admiration.
"Louis, Zayn, Niall, this is Daine."
