Simon's Daughters

**Niall's P.O.V**
"Hey" I grabbed her hand, she seemed lost in thought.
"Yah?" She turned looking at me, although I didn't take my eye off the road.
"I'm sorry, for always letting my feeling get the best of me. I know that you probably hate me a little more every time do. And I don't ever want you to think that I would lash out, and hit you." I rubbed my thumb over her knuckles.
"I understand. And it's fine. I know that I make it hard by not telling you things, but when I was little, I was taught a few things." She had looked down at her lap. "One never ever show emotion . It's a weakness. Two, walk away. If things go wrong, pack your bags and leave. Three, people are only out there to hurt you, never ever tell them anything." She had looked back up at me.
"I'm sorry."
"Don't apologize, there is nothing you could have done."
"I could have been there, I could have-"
"Niall, shh" She took her other hand and placed it on top of mine, and hushed me. "Not now" I nodded.
"Okay" I pulled into the movie theater.
" So this is where we are going"
"Yup to see your second favorite type of movie"
"Really? You know what that is?" I nodded. "What movie"
"Surprise" She sighed.

"Two tickets to Devil's Due" I said. I could see out of the corner of my eye, how her face lit up. We walked to the snack counter. "What do you want?"
"A water please"
"So two Mt.Dews and a large popcorn."
"Hope you're hungry" The guy was staring at Cora hard.
"I- I'm sorry, but are you Cora Quirk?" The guy behind the counter asked.
"Um- no. I'm Cora Cowell." She took a pause. " How do you know my old last name?"
"It's good to see you again."
"I don't think I know you." She nervously chuckled.
"Well, it's been a while. But let me give you a hint. I had braces, and a, sorta, bowl cut." She squinted her eye. Before smiling.
"Hey Riley, it's nice to see you too" He came out from the counter, giving her a hug. No, not like I'm not here. She whipped around. "Niall this is my old friend Riley, Riley this is-"
"Her boyfriend" I cut her off, sticking my hand out. He shook it. "I'm sorry but we do have to go catch our movie" I looked down at my imaginary watch.
"Alright, well enjoy."
"Hey, keep in touch okay, social statuses." I took her hand and pulled her along. We sat down before she spoke again. "Really?"
"What?"
"You know what I'm talking about." I sighed. "He was my only bestfriend, he was where I could go, he was like a brother to me. You are my only boyfriend, you are the one place I know I can go. So if you are done, I'd love to watch a movie snuggled up to my favorite guy in the world." She took her cup from the cup holder in the middle of us, and moved it to the one on the other side of her. She pulled the arm up, so it wasn't between us anymore.
"Okay. Come here" I opened one of my arms up, so she scooted closer and snuggled up to me, so I put my arm around her. This is how we stayed through out the whole movie, once it ended it hit me how vulnerable we are to a fangirl attack. "Come on" I helped her up, kinda rushing her out.
"Bye Riley" She waved to him as I pulled her past. I heard a girl scream.
"Oh my god is that Niall."
"Shit" I muttered before running to the car. Cora following close behind.
"Sorry" I said before getting into the safety of my car.
"No it's fine" She took a deep breath. I drove off, trying not to hit the girl who was running at the car. Stupid bitch. "Where to next?"
"Either we go home, or we go out to eat"
"How are you still hungry, you ate the whole thing of popcorn" I gave her skeptical look. "Don't answer that"
"So you want food?" She looked up at me with a stunned expression. "Kidding"
