Half A Heart

I told my mother everything. Everything that happened.

" Oh dear... I'm so sorry... For both of you," she genuinely said, " I'm so proud of you two for staying so strong. But atleast you are both young, and not looking for children right now." she laced her fingers together.

" That's besides the point mom. I would have liked children someday. And same with Harry." I sighed. Harry reached for my hand.

" I know. Maybe eventually you guys could adopt?" She smiled. I forced a grin.

" Maybe. "

" Maybe you guys could stay for dinner? I'd love to cook for both of you, especially from what you guys just told me, you need a distraction." She smiled.

" Harry and I would love to stay, but we planned on going to tell Niall and Sandy our news too."

My mother's eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

" Niall AND Sandy? You say it like they're one." She chuckled my eyes widened. She didn't know?

" You mean, Niall hasn't told you?" Harry replied, as if he was reading my mind.

" Told me what?" My mom asked, getting up and starting the stove.

" That Sandy and Niall are seeing eachother." Harry said. My mother bent down into the cupboard, pulling out a pot.

" I suspected it would happen sometime." She smiled.

" So I'm guessing you don't know Sandy is pregnant either?" I asked my mom. Now, this was news. She dropped her pan, causing Harry and I to wince at the noise it made when it hit the floor.

" Did you just say Sandy is pregnant?" My mother gaped. I slowly nodded." I'm going to have to call that boy, give him a peice of my mind for not telling me." My mom marched towards the home phone.

Niall and my mom aren't related, but ever since Niall moved back here from Ireland, my mom has become pretty much his other mother. They were close, and I liked that.

" No mom, no need! I don't want him to know we told you!" I stopped her as she was about to dial his number. She scowled at me for a few moments, as if deciding if she should go along with me. I guess she gave in, slamming the phone back its charger with a sigh.

" Fine. But you better tell him and Sandy that I need I speak to them." She scolded. Harry and I stood up and put our coats on.

" Will do. Bye mom." I hugged her and kissed her forehead.

" Goodbye Maria, goodbye Harry." She smiled as Harry bent down and kissed my mother's cheek.


" I didn't know we had to go tell Niall and Sandy, too" Harry whined as he started the car.

" Well I didn't plan on it, but I didn't feel like spending the night at my mothers, and I assume you didn't either."

" I don't want to do anything tonight. Let's just go home and sleep okay?" Harry reached for my hand. I nodded.

" Okay."

The next morning I woke up in an empty bed. Where was Harry?

My question was answered when I could smell Bacon in the air. My favorite.

I ruhed downstairs into the kitchen to see my man frying up some bacon, shirtless. Did I mention he was shirtless?

Man, I never get tired of looking at that body of his.

" Hey baby," Harry looked up from the frying pan and smiled, showing me the same dimples I fell inlove with years ago.

" Hiya." I grinned, sitting on the barstool. " Thanks for making bacon."

He lightly chuckled.

" My pleasure. Plus, I was hoping we could go out today? Spend some quality time together since I start work back up next week." He flipped some bacon. I nodded.

" Yeah, that sounds great." I smiled.

He slid a plate of bacon to me.

We walked inside the movie theatre.

" Man, I haven't been here since Highschool!" I smiled up at Harry. I really haven't. I never had time to go to the movies.

" Yeah, I remember that." Harry said gloomly.

Then memories flashed back from when Harry was with Niall and caught me in a lie where he found me here with Andy.

" I thought we agreed to forget about that. Especially now... It's been what, five years?" I scowled at him.

" What's been five years?" Harry asked. I smiled and playfully slapped his shoulder, and a grin eventually crept into his face.

" Exactly." I muttered.

Harry and I got our tickets and sat down to watch the movie.

" Shit, I forgot to get popcorn. Do you want anything from the consesions?" Harry whispered, standing up. I shook my head.

" No thanks. Hurry back." I smiled. Harry bent down and gave me a quick kiss on the lips.

• Harry's pov •

The smell of popcorn filled my nostrils as I stood and waited in the long line for consessions.

" Harry?" Someone tapped on my shoulder. I turned around to see Eleanor, looking as beautiful as ever.

" Eleanor! Hey!" I hugged her and she hugged me back.

" Hey Harry! Are you here alone?" She asked. I shook my head.

" No, Maria is in the theatre." I smiled. Her eyes almost popped out of her head.

" Maria is back?" She asked. Oh... I guess I never told her... Or Louis.

" Yes."

" Oh my God! I haven't seen her in a while. Well, actually I saw her in college a lot, her roommate was my cousin." She laughed.

I nodded. I did not know that.

" Yeah, we are back together." I cheekily smiled. Her face went serious.

" Wow... I didn't know that... I'm so happy for you guys. Especially since what Louis and I did to you two in high sc-"

I cut her off. She always blames Louis and herself for Maria and I getting caught.

" Eleanor, it's fine. It wasn't your fault, plus it was bound to happen sometime." I smiled. She nodded.

" Alright, well I knew you and her would find your ways back to eachother. I knew you were meant to be with her and not... Julyssa." She spat. I laughed at her hate towards Julyssa.

Right then Louis walked up.

" Hazza! Hey! I haven't seen you since our little talk." He winked. The Julyssa talk I had with him. I nodded.

" Hey Lou."

" You're holding up the line." He nodded towards the big gap between the next person and I.

" Right." I chuckled, stepping foward.
