Half A Heart

I hit Harry with my pillow to wake him up.

" Harry wake up! We have to meet Rhonda at the first house!" I yelled. Damn this boy was hard to wake up. We were meeting our realtor at eight and it was seven thirty. I was dressed and ready, but Harry hasn't even got out of bed.

Harry groaned and literally rolled out onto my floor. I giggled, and walked around the bed to his side. He put his Hand in the air for me to help him up.

I clutched his big hand and struggled to pull him up but I was too weak. Instead he pulled me down ontop of him.

" Harry!" I giggled. He pecked my lips.

" Yes love?"

I hit his chest as his arms wrapped around me.

" I'm serious. You have ten minutes to get ready or else I'm Leaving without you."

" No." He whined, hiding his face in my neck. I played with his curls.

" C'mon." I got out of his warm embrace and he warily stood up too, following me into the bathroom.

He slipped a white t-shirt over his head and black jeans on his legs after brushing his teeth.

it took all I had not to stare, but I stared anyways.

" Like the veiw baby?" He smirked. I looked away.

" No." I blushed.

Harry put his wallet in his pocket and grabbed his keys, then put out his hand for me. I took It and laced our fingers together, grabbing my purse and following him out.

We walked inside the first house, three rooms, three bathrooms, and a finished basement.

We walked inside to the small living room. That was a dislike.

" Now, the living room is small, but you can always take this wall out...." I stopped listening. I didn't feel like doing work that means taking out a wall.

We walked inside the fifth house, which was the last house for the exhausting day. My favorite had been the third one so far but Harry didn't like that one. He liked the secound, which in my opinion was worse than the first.

I liked the front of the this house. It was a brown brick house with lots of windows and a red door. The neighborhood was quiet and nice. A great place to raise children.

" I like it so far." Harry whispered in my ear. I smiled. He must be having the same thoughts as me.

Rhonda unlocked the red door and I crossed my fingers and prayed I would like it.

The secound we stepped inside I knew this would be the house.

There was a fireplace in the far wall, and the floor was dark hardwood flooring. The windows let in a pretty light that illuminated the room.

I was silent, taking it all in. It was perfect.

We we walked into the kitchen, which had white cupboards and dark granite counters. It was a perfect size, with an island in the middle and everything. I ran my hands over the top of the counters.

I could feel Harry's eyes on me, waiting for a reaction. I didn't give him one yet.

we walked up the staircase and into the hall. There was three rooms up here. I guess we'd have an office and then a guest room.

The master room was beautiful and large. Perfect for us. The bathroom had a jacuzzi tub and a shower.


" Can you let us talk?" Harry asked Rhonda as we got close to the front door, she nodded, trying to hide her smile while walking out of the house. Harry sighed, turning to me.

" What do you think?" He ran a hand through his hair.

I looked around the living room.

" I absolutely... Love it... Harry I think this is the one." I said. He looked so relieved. He ran up to me, picking me up and spinning me in a circle.

" I don't even know how this is in our price range! It's amazing!" I giggled as he put me down.

" I know. But I'm not complaining. I was so nervous you wouldn't like this one either. C'mon, let's go tell Rhonda that we found the one." He smiled, kissing my forehead.

This is the house I could see Harry and I living in for the future. This house had so much character, it had our names written all over it.
