Half A Heart

I slipped in my last hoop earring and looked into the mirror.

" You look very Beautiful, baby." I felt arms wrap around my waist from behind. I shivered as his deep, raspy voice flooded through my ears. He rested his haed down on my shoulder.

" Thank you." I smiled. I turned my head around and pecked his cheek.

" I wonder if Sandy will be mad at me for moving out." I sighed. His eyes widened.

" So you're going to move in with me?"

I grabbed his hand and my purse and we walked towards the door and down the hall.

" Well, I was thinking about it, and yes. I'd love to start a life with you." I warmly smiled. He squeezed my hand.

" You don't know how happy this makes me." He beamed.

We pulled into Olive Garden and walked inside.

" Table for four." I said. The waitress smiled.

" Are those the your two other guests?" She pointed across the resturant to Sandy an Niall sitting in a booth.

" Yes they are. Thank you very much." I laced my fingers in Harry's and walked up to the table. I sat inside the booth and Harry scooted in next to me.

" Hey guys." Sandy smiled. Man, she was in a happy mood.

" Hey. How are you two?" Harry's hand found my thigh and began rubbing small circles.

" We are fantastic. How about you guys?" She asked.

" Hi I'm Marlee and I'll be your waitress for the evening, what can I start you guys off to drink?" We were Inturrupted by a girl with short brown hair and caramel eyes.

" I'll have water." Sandy said. Marlee nodded as she laid down our coasters.

" Coke." Niall said.
" Sweet tea." I spoke next.
" uh- coke." Harry mumbled.

" Okay, I'll be right with you guys." She smiled.

" She is too happy." Harry laughed shaking his head. I nudged him.

" Well it's better than being rude." I whispered.

" So what's up with you guys?" Sandy asked.

Harry gave me a 'Now?' Look about moving out. I shook my head no.

" We're doing great. Really great. It's been lonely around the apartment without you San." I chuckled.

" Yeah. I've been... Distracted lately." She looked at Niall out of the corner of her eye and nudged him.

The waitress came up with our drinks, setting all four of them down

" Are you guys ready to order?" She asked.

" I think so. Are you both ready?" Sandy asked me and Harry. We nodded.

After we ordered, I sipped my tea.

"'Hows Blue?" Sandy asked. I shrugged.

" He's good."

" You guys are talking like you haven't seen eachother in a year." Harry mumbled.

" Well three days for girls is like a year I guess." Niall shrugged, the same attitude as Harry. Bored and tired.

" When are you coming back to the apartment?" I asked her. She gave me an uneasy look.

" I uh... I... There is something I need to tell you Maria." She sighed. She now had my attention.

" What is it?" I fixed my posture and leaned over the table anxiously.

" I'm going to move in with Niall soon. I don know when but sometime in the future."

I smiled.

" Really? That's great because I wanted to tell you the same thing. Harry and I way to start looking at houses." I patted Harry's shoulders.

" Wow that's great! She smiled. I nodded.

" Yeah it is."

" So I guess we'll have to plan on getting rid of the apartment?" She smiled I shrugged.

" I guess so. It feels like I just moved in with you though."

Sandy sighed as Niall put his arms around her. It was so weird seeing them together. I'm not used to it yet. At all.

" I know. But it was great as it lasted." She smiled and I nodded. I had no clue what to talk about. I had already said what I've wanted to say. it's usually never this awkward between Sandy and I.

The tension in the air was so thick, as if she wasn't telling me something yet. I saw it her eyes as she tried to act like normal.

" You look amazing tonight." Harry whispered into my ear out of no where. I blushed.

" I look normal."

" That's amazing to me." He kissed my cheek and I giggled. He's such the charmer.

" I might need to take you to the bathroom for a few minutes." He winked and I nudged him as he took his hand off my lap and draped it around my shoulder.

" Kinky." I smirked.

Someone came up to our table with a tray and four plates.

" Wow, that was fast." Niall said. The waitress looked around.

" We aren't very busy tonight." She sighed. I didn't notice how empty it was.

She put our plates out and we dug in right away. I got cheesey ravioli, like Harry.

" We've got some news guys." Niall spoke up. Sandy smiled at us and the tension was gone for a second.

" What is it?" Harry asked putting ravioli in his mouth. I sipped my sweet tea as Sandy spoke," We're pregnant."

I spit my water back into my cup or else I would have choked on it. Harry dropped his fork on his plate, frozen.

" What?" I asked. I shakily out my glass down. " Is this a joke?"

" No. Niall and I found out yesterday... You guys are the first to know, Because we want you two to be the God parents." She smiled. That was the very last thing I ever expected her to say.

Wow. I would be an aunt again. To my brother's child and my bestfriend's child. Niall and Harry were basically brothers so I guess this made Harry not only a God parent but an uncle too.

" We would love to be the God parents!" I squealed.

" Oh my gosh I was so nervous how'd you react." Sandy put a hand over her chest in relief.

" No. I'm really happy for you two."

" So am I." Harry finally spoke. It was quiet for a few moment again.

" Wow I'm still shocked." I laughed.

" I was too." Sandy smiled. Niall looked at her when she wasn't looking. The way he looked at my bestfriend warned my heart.

I turned to harry.

" I love you Harry." I whispered into his ear.

" I love you Maria."

And in that moment things were great.
