Half A Heart

" Would you like peanuts?" The flight attendant asked me. I nodded.

" Why not."

She gave me a pack of peanuts and moved to the next row of seats asking the same thing.

We were in the air and I was actually happy for once. My phone was off, I had Ice cold water, peanuts, and I was alone and away. Everything I needed.

I dragged my suitcases into my hotel room and flung the heavy loads onto the bed.

I laid back, and took a good look at the ceiling. I didn't know what to do next.

I sat up and looked at the door to the balcony.

I stood up, walking to the French doors and out to the cold deck. I wrapped my arms around myself as I looked at the veiw below.

My room was actually high up in the hotel, so I could see the big town below me.

" Beautiful sight huh?"

I literally almost jumped out of the balcony as I turned and saw my curly haired mop head in the French doorway.

• Harry's pov, Hours before this moment •

I walked down the hall to Maria's apartment this morning. I brought her doughnuts and orange juice.

" Maria open up!" I yelled since my hands were full.

I heard shuffling on the other side. The door slowly creaked open to Sandy. Her hair was in a messy bun. She yawned.

I had obviously just woken her up.

" Sorry... I didn't mean to wake you, but can I see Maria?"

" Just missed her."

" Oh, where'd she go?"

She he rubbed her eyes as she spoke.

" Ireland."

I dropped my my orange juice and It busted on the floor. She shrugged.

" It's fine. Our complex has a lady to clean that up for us."

I totaly ignored her reply.

" She's moving to Ireland?!"

" No she's not moving to Ireland you dingbat. She'll be there for a week. She needs to be alone for a while, which I totally understand."

" I need to catch her. "

" Go do it man." I was about to turn and leave when she told me to hold on.

" What?" I asked.

" Thanks for the doughnuts though."

She took the doughnuts from my hands and shut the door in my face.

I rushed into the Airport To the clerks desk.

" I need the first flight to Ireland."

She looked at her computer and typed something into the computer.

" You just missed it. The next one is in two hours."

i nodded.

" Alright. I'll take that one."

I have two hours to pack some clothes and then board the plane.

• Maria's pov, Current time •

" So you followed me here?" I asked him crossing my arms.

he nodded.

" Yeah. I didn't want you to be alone."

I sighed, walking past Harry and back inside the hotel room.

" That's why I came here. To be alone. Harold, you are causing me all the weird problems and giving me mixed feelings. This need to stop."

he shut the balcony doors and came inside to me.

" Maria I need you. I love you and I cannot live without you. The past four years have been the worst years of my life without you and I'm sorry ok? I'm sorry for not keeping intouch. I'm sorry for thinking I moved on with Julyssa. The truth is, I thought that I found love again with Julyssa, but then I looked into your eyes again when you found me in Kelly's and fell in love all over."

My vision became blurry as tears brimmed in my eyes.

I ran to Harry's arms and dug my head into his chest.

" I've missed you." I whispered.
