Half A Heart

I sat on the couch and flipped through the channels on the tv, anxiously looking at the door every few Secounds hoping Sandy would walk in.

I turned the tv off and gave up, going down the hall, but sure enough as soon as I began walking, someone walked inside and made Blue begin to bark.

" Shhh it's okay." I told him so he would stop barking.

Sandy walked in, setting her purse on the counter. She looked fine. Not hurt or anything.

" Where were you?! I've been worried sick!" I yelled.

She put her weight on one leg.

" Oh please, chill. I met a hot kid and I crashed at his place Kay? " she said like it was nothing.

" You could have atleast answered my calls." I said.

she walked back to her room to shower.

" Sorry my phone died."

I sighed. I mean, atleast she was okay.

I picked up Blue and scratched behind his ear, walking into Sandy's bathroom. She was already in the shower.

" Do you want to go out and eat tonight? We have a lot to catch up on." I rested against the counter.

" I was gone for a night, what could I have possibly missed?" She asked.

" You'd be surprised."

" Can I come in?" I asked. He stepped out of the way.

" Of course."

I walked in and set my things down on his counter.

I knew Niall really well. Ever since I ever started to date Harry, he's been a really close friend to me. I could trust him.

i plopped myself on the couch.

" Harry wants to leave me." I decided to to rip the band aide off.

" What?!" He froze.

" Yeah. He spent the night at some 'girl's' house that he said was a close friend of his and comes home claiming he wants to call off the ceremony." I said, putting quotes around the girl.

I watched he's as Niall put his face in his hands.


" Maria..." He murmered, like he knew something.

" Maria? what does she have to do with this?"

he snapped his head up.

" Wait... Harry never told you?"

" Told me what?"

" Maria and Harry used to be inlove. They broke up when she went to college and now she's back." He said. My jaw dropped.

" Are you serious?"

" Do I look like I'm kidding?"

I rested my head in my hands.

" Niall I told him I was pregnant so he wouldn't leave me!"

" You what?!" He asked.

" I mean, I actually was pregnant, but then I miscarried and never told him. Now three days later I'm no longer pregnant."

I watched Niall's shocked face.

" Why didn't you tell anyone you miscarried?!" He threw his hands in the air as he yelled.

A tear rolled down my cheek.

" I was waiting for the right time. But then he comes home asking to end it. Niall I need your help!"

" I don't know how I could possibly help you." He said in a matter -of-fact tone.

" Actually you can. There's away!"

" How?"

" Donate your sperm to me. Make me pregnant again." I begged.
