''ALYSSA!!!!!WAKE UP"my mom yelled.

i heard footsteps come down to my room as I got up and opened the door before my mom could.

"hey,mom"

"Alyssa...it's 9:00 IN THE FUCKING MORNING."she yelled

"WHAT!WHY DIDNT YOU TELL ME!!"I yelled back. I ran Into the shower and got washed quickly. Then I got dressed without even thinking and got my book bag and ran out the door. My school was only like 20 minutes away.i ran out as Fast as I could.

as I got to school and went to my locker quiet as a mouse and opened it slowly and put my stuff up and got my math book out. I closed my locker quietly and went to my class room.
i opened the door to find every one watching me as I entered the classroom. Mr.Thomas(math teacher) watched me as I walked up to him and told him I over slept. He look at me with I really don't care face and told me to go sit down.
I went to the sit down and I sat right next to Ema.

"hey" she whispered.

"hi"I replied

"why were you late?"she asked

" I over slept"

"you over slept,for the first time.wow"she look at me strange

"what.its the truth."I said as I looked at her like she was crazy.

"sure.the truth."as she looked away and smiled

i let out a giggle and the mr.Thomas looked at me.

"I didn't say anything when you came Late today ms.taylor. So you shouldn't be saying anything."he said as he looked back at the bored and started teaching again.

the bell rang afterwards and me and ema lefted for our different classes.

Time pasted and it was now lunch.

i got my lunch and sat back down with Ema

"hey Emma I've been meaning to ask you something"I said as I looked at her

"yea what's up"she looks at me.

"Remember when I was at your house yesterday.and I saw a bunch of people come to your house and I saw all types of guns and drugs. I saw bags of money.and all of them had like piercing and tattoos and I got scared and I didn't want to come to your house ever again that night." I said as I ran out of breath

she looked at me and then looked away.

"You are in a gang aren't you."I said as I got up and walked away.

I left the school early cause I felt hurt that my friend lied to me all this time.

I got home and searched all around looking for my mother.she wasn't there.she's probably at work still.

I sat on the couch thinking to myself ' I can't hang with her anymore, she's to dangerous to be around with,what am I going to do now.'

i just didn't want to deal with this I'm tried i just didn't care anymore.


I waited and waited till I fell into a deep sleep.
