Kelly's POV

It was Niall's birthday on Saturday! I knew I had to do something. I haven't spoke or seen them in three months now. I wouldn't tell anyone. It would be a surprise. I pack my things for the weekend and book a flight back home. I call for a taxi and they bring me to the airport.
Putting my luggage on the cart, I set off for the gate. I hand the flight person my ticket and walk in the airplane.

"Thank you," I say as the cab driver drives off. It's Saturday, Niall's birthday. I walk up to his house first. I ring the doorbell awaiting my best friend to open the door.
When the door opens, I see bloodshot eyes, a red face, tears, tissues, and a very upset Niall. That is, until who he realizes who is at his door.
"KELLY!" He yells and hugs me. I hug him back so, so tight. "What's wrong Niall? What happened?" I say to him. He avoids looking into my eyes. I grab his wrist and he winces.
"Please dear god great and holy no," I say as I lift his sleeve up. There are scars. I am walking into his house now, dragging him by his shirt to his room. There is barely any light in the room.
"Sit your ass down," I order him. He sits on his bed. I close and lock the door, sitting on his computer chair which is directly in front of him. I grab his wrists.
"What. Are. These" I say through gritted teeth.
"Well, after you left.... And you said what you did about dying.... I decided it wasn't that bad of an id-".
"SHUT UP NIALL!" I say covering my ears. Tears stream down my face as I mutter to myself.
"this is all my fault." I look up at him.
"Why were you crying?"
"Because its my birthday and I thought no one cared anymore. Kelly, you abandoned me! You left with a note," he says.
"I told you if you called Harry I would leave." I said. I didn't bother raising my voice.
"Well then-" Niall was cut off by the doorbell. Da fuck?
