…. 30 Minutes Later ….
We have been talking some sense into Harry, but he wasn’t accepting it. He was determined that he should come with me, and the rest of us were denying it. The last time we have been in LA, was the time we witnessed Nicole’s funeral. As much as it hurts me to be there again, I know for a fact that Harry won’t be able to take it; he might cause himself another nervous breakdown just like the day of the explosion.“No Harold, it’s final. You aren’t going! I am certainly not going to let you tag along with me.” I shook my head as I spoke sternly to him, but he wasn’t getting that point in his stubborn mentality at all.
“You heard Niall, mate. You’ll stay here with us, until you feel better. Heck, I will stay here personally to keep you relaxed.” Liam replied, backing my point up, and then Louis continued. “Harry, stop being stubborn, we want what’s best for you; and going back there won’t make you better at all.” Harry ran his fingers through his hair and breathed in the stress. “Listen, you all know how much each one of you means to me, so please just understand me… I have to go, I need to do this in order to recover fully. I just need to visit her, that’s all…” His eyes were glittered with water droplets, and we 4 sighed depressed from the memory of Nicole being around.
I remember the time she and I were in the kitchen in the early morning, and how she made me calm down when I was at the peak of my depression… I can never forget her; she was and still is a part of my life. Not only mine, all of us; especially Harry. “(I breathed, and spoke.) Alright … I’m leaving tonight at 8:00 pm. Make sure you pack your stuff, and I’ll book you a ticket.” Harry’s eyes glowed with a thankful look, and he stood up from his seat to hug me. “Thanks, man… you don’t know how much this means to me.” I nodded and rubbed his back, in order for him to calm down.
“I’ll help you pack if you want?” Louis suggested and Zayn followed: “I don’t mind either.” He gave Harry a smile, as we dropped our hug, and Harry nodded with no smile at all. I don’t blame him, it took me more than 2 weeks to stop myself from crying, and that happened when Amanda was beside me. She made sure we all stayed at her place, when we all traveled to attend Nicole’s funeral. We have been getting closer ever since, and I think it is time for her and me to get something official between us.“I’ll pass by your place at 5:00 pm and I’ll pick you up, alright Harry?” He nodded, and that was when Liam and I said our goodbyes, and went outside to take a cab.
“Niall, please take good care of him over there, you know how sensitive he is right now. He never was this fragile, and I don’t think he’ll ever be like he is now.” I sighed to Liam’s words and spoke: “Don’t worry; I’ll make sure he won’t leave my sight at all times. He’ll be alright, he just needs this time to morn more over there, and you never know this might help him eventually to recover.” Liam answered:“We’re all hoping for that…” Just then, a cab pulled off in front of us, and we took it as our ride back to my place.
