“I can’t believe you all! I leave you with official orders to watch the boys, and I come back to find you all playing FIFA!? What kind of agents are you! I swear to God I’ll have you all relocated to Arizona! Wait till the Chief hears about this!” I was letting out my anger on the agents once I got back home. I found them playing games with the boys on the wide screen TV, instead of guarding them! “Nicole, it’s not like we didn’t tell them to join us.” Liam tried to make me calm down, but once he mentioned that; I switched my anger on him.
“(I spat in fury.) You did this? You don’t interfere with my orders just like that. I try protecting you all, and you make this look like a vacation trip instead. What? You think I got the agents to be your play dates? You make this look like a baby sitting center instead of a protection temporary coverage!” Liam seemed angry from what I just said; so he fired his anger back at me: “It would have been if you weren’t all over Harry’s mouth doing God- Only – Knows –What out there! You are here to protect us and you ditch for your own play date with our mate; who’s the one ruining the mission now, Nicole?” I couldn’t control myself anymore, as I found my hand slapping Liam’s face. The entire room went dead silent, Liam didn’t even say another word anymore; I ran to the balcony and just slid myself on the chair with my sunglasses on (http://www.polyvore.com/clearing_things/set?id=105074671&lid=3147054).
I didn’t mean to slap Liam, but he was turning the accusation table to my side instead of him and the boys. I groaned and stared at the sun, trying to calm my nerves. “Babe?” Harry cooed from the door, I didn’t turn back; I just exhaled my breath loudly from my mouth. He came close to me, and sat down on the chair beside mine. “Calm down, please. (He took my hand into both of his and held it warmly.) Liam gets angry real fast, and he was just saying whatever got on his mind. He doesn’t mean anything, and I’m sure he and the rest of the boys know how you bust your energy each day to keep us safe. Just breathe and relax…” I nodded to his mature words, and took my sunglasses off with my free hand.
“I didn’t want to slap him; I just lost my temper… I should go apologize right now.” He nodded and kissed my hand as we both went inside to the living room. “Agents, you can leave now. I’ll deal with you later… Paul, is it possible for you to go grab us some groceries? (I opened my wallet and handed him a paper and cash.) They’re all on the list here.” Paul replied: “Of course, I’ll head out now.” I forced a smile of appreciation as the kind man left. It was me and the boys now, we were all seated in the living room and it was still that awkward silence phase in the room.
“Li-…” He interrupted me by speaking, as we looked at each other: “I know you want to apologize, but you don’t have to. You were right; I just lost my focus of words. I’m really sorry, Nicole. I was rude to you, and I didn’t realize how hard you try each day to keep us safe…” I stood up and yanked Liam’s hand so he can stand up too; I hugged him warmly and spoke: “I’m sorry that I slapped you too, but I just was scared that either one of you might have gotten hurt…” He smiled and rubbed my shoulder. “Oi! I’m sitting here!” Harry exclaimed and we all laughed. I sat beside Harry, as his hand scrolled over my waist, pulling me closer to his side. “You know, the lecture you gave was like the one my parents gave to me whenever I did something wrong.” Zayn humoursly spoke, and we all let out a loud laugh. “That’s why we should call you Mama Nicole from now on.” Louis joked and I rolled my eyes, I’m glad things are back to normal with everyone.
