Agent Rale For A Day

Nicole's POV:

I jogged out of the front door, and saw her waving her hand from the beach. I ran towards her, glancing right and left every second in case one of the boys were following me. “Amanda why are you here?! Did Rachel send you?! You know how risky it is for you and I now to be out in the public?! Did anyone follow you here!?” I was blurting out my nervousness and worry; we could both be harmed! “Nicole, just calm down! I’m here to help you.” Help me? Huh? In what? I already know how to apply basic makeup?“What do you mean?” She giggled and took off her Badge; that made my jaw drop instantly.
“Since when are you an agent!?” She draped her arm over my shoulder and we walked back to the house slowly, this is all hard to process. “I was on my last days of training when I came and helped you with the makeup tutorial. I applied for the agent exam and I passed with flying colors; and since they saw how helpful I was with you, I’m now your left hand in this mission.” I quickly pressed my index finger into the ear-piece and spoke: “Jim! Why am I the last one to know about the latest news?!” I heard Amanda chuckle in her hyper activity that I am used to; as Jim replied: “Relax Moore, Agent Rale was sent to be your backup. 5 boys are hard to handle, right?” I groaned and we both walked closer to the house.
“It’s only for tomorrow and she will be reassigned to her own case. You need her help for tomorrow’s night.” Jim proceeded, and Amanda threw a smile; as we kept walking. “What’s happening tomorrow?” Jim spoke: “The band is attending a private auction dinner. Amanda will be watching over the rest of the boys, while you take care of Harry. We will spread agents all over the area, and I will be there too.” I glanced at Amanda, and then replied to him: “Alright, what is her cover in front of the boys?” She replied instead of Jim to my question directly: “I’m your cousin.” I shook my head and laughed: “Come along cousin.” She giggled and we walked inside. Niall surprised me to be the one opening the door, as he scanned Amanda from head to toe; blonde power! “Niall, this is my cousin Amanda, Amanda this is Niall.” I introduced them to each other, and watched closely as Niall picked her hand and kissed it; as she received a pink color on her cheeks; this can’t be happening…
…. Later At Night ….
“So you live in Miami?” Liam asked Amanda, as we all sat for dinner. Thankfully I was able to cook something with Amanda’s help from the groceries that the agency placed before our arrival. “Yeah, I’ve been here for sometime; and it has been quite a long time since I saw Nicole.” She acted perfectly, as I smiled at her; well done! “That’s interesting!” Niall cheered as he chewed and stared at Amanda; not again! “(He placed his hand on my lap under the table, and whispered in my ear quietly.) Hey, I will leave the room for both of you to sleep in tonight. I’ll sleep on the couch while you girls take your privacy…” I looked at Harry directly, as both our eyes flickered a dreamy look at each other. “(I whispered back.) Did you forget that you are the one being protected? I’m going wherever you will go; Amanda could stay in the room or sleep on the couch.” He nodded, and leaned in to kiss my cheek, but I tried to move away as much as I could.
He nudged me and looked at everyone who were staring; oh crap I forgot we are pretending to be together. I leaned in and pecked him instead of his cheek kiss, and then wiped his lips with my napkin from the gloss he stole from my pair.“That is cute in a very disgusting way.” Louis sang and I just shrugged at him and took a bite from my fork. I felt Harry looking at me nonstop all the time as the dinner went on; I know that it surprised him. Did I do it because I wanted? Or because of the situation?
