…. After An Hour ….



“Well, thank you Harry for this breakfast; Kendall it was nice to meet you.” I had to leave, since Jim was telling me through the ear-piece that the Chief needs to have a word with me. “So soon? But Nicole I thought we could go for a little walk; (he paused and looked at Kendall; I think he remembered she was sitting with us!) Would you want to join?” She gave him a disgusted look, and I laughed deep down from her reaction; oh ya you deserve that after your plastic attitude Kendall. “(I looked at him, and smiled in apology.) I’m sorry Harry, I need to be somewhere else and it’s kind of urgent. We have each other’s numbers, so relax.” He smiled and then breathed out to reply: “Yeah, definitely. I’ll make sure to contact you.” I nodded and wore my jacket, as I shook Kendall’s hand and hugged Harry; I think his hugs are my new addiction; Stop blabbing Nicole!



….At the Four Seasons’ Hotel ….



“Chief, why are we here? Don’t you think that this might be an indirect exposure to our mission?” The Chief sighed as he looked at me and Jim. We currently were sitting in the lobby, and honestly? I was so nervous that by any chance Harry or any of the boys would see me and try to say hello; I hope my boss knows what he’s up to. “Moore, don’t you think I’m smarter than that? (I nodded slowly to show respect.) Listen, someone we were afraid of having in the states, has just arrived… (I gulped, is it the same person I have in mind?) Moore? I don’t think you are going to like this at all…” Oh no, please don’t say it, please!



“Vera Prokyankov is out of jail, and she has arrived yesterday according to our followers that we planted to stalk her. (This can’t be happening.) Nicole, you know what Vera might want, right? I think your last encounter must have influenced her mainly to pay you a visit…” I can’t believe what I just heard, my heartbeats where pumping faster than ever; I thought I would never see her again! Vera Prokyankov is my worst nightmare.



She and I both got the same training in the FBI, back then her name was Felicity Hodge; yes she’s originally American. After we graduated from the FBI, we got our first mission together, to capture a Russian gang for drug dealing; that never went well. They kidnapped her, and I was able to arrest 1 of them (they were 3). A year later, The FBI got a clue on her location, so I was sent with 2 agents to Russia to get her back. To everybody’s surprise, she wasn’t herself anymore, she became one of the deadliest Russian assassins on the list, and gratefully I was able to drag her to jail. This is too much for me to handle now, what am I going to do with this high risk on myself?!



“Nicole, we have greater issues to worry about. (He breathed, and continued.)We can’t risk Harry or any of the other boys knowing about this, that’s why we decided with the management that you should tell Harry as soon as possible. At least that would alert him from anything that he might go through. (He hands me a ring.) Make him wear this at all times, it has a tracer that we can track at all times; just in case. (I breathed heavily as Jim rubbed his forehead.) Vera is here, and all we know that she wants you kiddo… (He looked sad, but tried to hide it as much has he could.) You captured her once, you can do it again.” Why is this happening? Why is she back!? Why Harry!? I can’t risk having him even scratched… I’ll be prepared Vera, all I need is to see your face and I’ll make sure to erase it for good this time … I promise…

Vera Prokaynkov, a name Nicole never wished to hear again in her entire life. From the way that Nicole told us about Vera, we could determine that she is her worst enemy; aren't we all scared right now a little on the boys and Nicole? :( <3 She really is protective of Harry mostly isn't she? The last words she said in the chapter were really strong and meaningful, let's just hope our pretty prince and princess will be safe... Will Nicole tell Harry? Let's all find out:
