Lylu's POV

I woke up the next morning to the smell of coffee and bacon

Wait

Mom never cooks

I lazily put on my bathrobe and walked out my room walking down the hall and down the steps.

When i walked into the kitchen the clock on the stove read 12:35 for me a teenager and a vampire that's up early.

When i sat down at the bar counter and a plate of bacon and pancakes where pushed in front of me

"Thanks mom, when did you start cooking"

"I'm not your mom, but I used to watch my mom cook when i was little and picked up a few habits"

Oops I looked up and became entranced as i gazed into big brown laughing eyes i guess i was staring because i was pulled out of my trance by Liam laughing

" oh i'm sorry i thought you were my mom."

" yeah, i kinda figured that when you called me mom."

I took of my bathrobe to get more comfortable and got up to get milk and butter to go with my pancakes

I turned around and found Liam staring at me I was suddenly aware of how short my night gown was and i walked back over to my seat and sat down

"ummm, where is my everyone " i said giving him a plain look

" oh" Liam said as if coming out of a Trance " well my dad went to work to get a few hours in before he went on his 'vacation' and your mom went shopping for some cloth's for the trip, and i am about to invite some friends over if you want to hang with us"

" No" i snaped i grabbed all my plate and milk and got off my bar stool heading upstairs

"see you later" i said calling down the steps

When i got to my room i finished my food and began to work on the essay due the week we came back from summer break

That's the thing that sucks about being in honor classes you always have a big project due but one of the purks of being a vampire is the history passed and knowledge of all my ancestors is passed along trough my blood

After thirty minutes of writing an essay on the novel The adventures of ulysess by Brenard Evslin

I felt a shower was necessary i got my towel and went into the bathroom and took my shower i was lathering my hair when i heard the door open and Liam call to me something about my mom being called into work and being home late but all i could think about is how the shower curtains are kinda' see through
so i said a hurried ok so he would get out and when i heard the door click closed i rinsed out my hair and got out the shower and was walking out the bathroom to my room when a voice scared me

"I think we should get thicker shower curtains what about you" Liam said with a smile

"Shut the fuck up Liam" i said while walking into my room and slamming my door but i couldn't agree with him more
