One Thousand Songs Later

Lily's POV:

I woke up to the feeling of stiff muscles and black, all black. I tried to stand up, but I hit my head on something above. Great, I can't stand. I slumped back down and licked my cracked lips with my dry tongue. I need water, I thought urgently. Blinking faster, my eyes slowly adjusted to the low light.

Yes!

I thought when I spotted a water bottle in the corner. Gulping down the contents, I felt much better, except, hungry now. My stomach growled in reply and I wondered when my last meal was. At first, I wondered why I was here.

Then I remembered, Kyle had given me something, I remember him picking me up, and putting me in his truck. I knew I couldn't trust him, I thought. My stomach grumbled again and I wondered how long I've been knocked out.

I spread my hands out, as wide as possible, to know how much space I have. When my hands hit the sides, I knew, not much. Expanding my legs, they hit edges too. So basically this cage I'm in is perfect for me. Great, he probably knows my show size too. So he's also a stalker?! I sighed, bringing my legs back close to my body and wrapped my arms around them.

When will I see my family again? When will I see Luke again? Will I ever see Nick? I bit my lip, trying to stop my emotions to flow, but it was all too much. Before I knew it, I had let a tear glide down my cheeks, then a few more, then I was sobbing. Why does my life have to be so hard? Then I blacked out. The last thing I thought of before I lost conscious was, that was some nasty tasting water.

Kyle's POV:

"She's fine don't worry, they won't find her," I said to the phone.

"You should be with her at all times!"

"Don't worry, she can't escape without my help."

"What if she wakes up."

"She won't," I assured.

"How do you know?"

"Because I gave her a drug that will keep her asleep for a week and if she does wake up, she'll be thirsty and drink the drug again out a water bottle I set in the crate."

"Alright, alright."

"Please turn off all electronic devices, we will be landing in twenty minutes," said the flight attendant through the loudspeaker.

"I have to go, your picking us up right?"

"No, but someone will be there and escort you to a taxi."

"Okay, see you in an hour."

"And Kyle?"

"Yes?"

"Don't get caught." Then the line went dead. I rolled my eyes, knowing that I was the one and only person for this mission and I certainly would not get caught.

"At this time, please buckle your seat belts, restore your luggage underneath the seat in front of you, and push your chair to the upright position. The local time is 8:52 a.m., so please turn your watches and the temperature is 27° Celsius, or if your from America, it's 81° Fahrenheit. And welcome to Dakar, Senegal."
