Ripped to shreds
The Next Day
The next day after I finished the note was probably one of the most nerve racking days ever. I knew what I had to do if I really wanted him to ready the note, but I was terrified. History class was fourth period, and that gave me just enough time to be emotionally and mentally stable for passing the note. The periods before seem to pass by really quickly. Maybe it wasn't enough time. As I walked in to Mr. Haggars class room, I was so nervous to see his face. Would he say anything about the nurses office? I hope not. Besides, it would describe everything in the note anyways.
Harry was always late for history. After about ten minutes after the bell, I thought maybe he was absent, which I was kinda sad about, but yet again, it meant I had more time before I had to pass the note. But then, the familiar slow creak of the door rang through my head. I looked and saw his gleaming face and his magical body walk into the classroom. Shit, I thought. I heard him tell Mr. Haggar that he was late because his mom wouldn't get out of bed and there was no other way for him to get to school. Mr. Haggar waved him off and Harry headed my way. This is it, I thought. Time for me to pass the note.
About a half an hour into class and deep into a worksheet, I leaned over and pulled the note out of my backpack. I set it on the table with my hand over it and slowly sneaked it under his paper. Big all of a sudden, Mr. Haggar was standing right above me.
"What was that, Miss Lyric?" He lifted up Harry's paper and picked up the note. "Hmmm. Passing notes are we?" AAH SHIT!!! This was bad. Really bad. Harry looked at me slightly with a puzzled look on his face. Mr. Haggar walked to the front if the class an gently opened the note. And from his lips were the words written on the paper. He read the note to the whole class. I laid my face in my hands with my elbows on the desk. I was on the verge of tears when Mr. Haggar wkes over to my table once again and laid the note down.
"Don't do it again, or next time I'll make you read it," he said. At that, I was so pissed off, I stood up, looked him straight in the eye, lifted my middle finger and said "Fuck you" then stormed out of the classroom.
