Falling For You ~Edward Cullen~
Chapter 4
Arianna's p.o.v
Watching the game was absolutely amazing. They explained it to me but it's great seeing it with my own eyes. Whenever the bat connects with the ball, it sounded like thunder. The game ended an hour later although it seemed like minutes. Edward's team won, Alice already saw it, she just didn't want to say anything.
"So what do you think?" Emmett ran up to me his eyes sparkling with excitement. Even though his team lost he's still very happy.
"Well, best baseball game I've ever watched." I grinned at him giving him a thumbs up. From my peripheral vision I saw Rosalie glaring at us. I'm glad that Emmett didn't see, he's seems very big and intimidating but he's just really a very childish softie.
"Would you like to play with us next time?" he asked still excited.
"No thanks, it'll mess my hair up." I laughed. It still amazes me how beautiful and appealing my laugh sounds.
He pouted "But it's fun."
I poked his cheek, right on his dimples "Sorry Em, but I just don't play sports."
We teased each other while walking back to the house, when I had an idea.
"Do you wanna race?" I asked stopping him. "Loser has to eat 1 box of pizza." I would've said four boxes if it was someone else but it's Emmett and I'm sure I'll win, because I'm faster than him.
"Sure, you are so losing." he answered, his eyes gleaming.
"On your mark, get set, go!"
We took off. I can see Emmett keeping up with me easily, but I'm not going my fastest yet. I'll save that for the end. We were a few yards away from the house so I sped up, leaving Emmett behind. I reached the house half a second later with Emmett a feet behind me.
"No!" he groaned. "Rematch!"
I laughed "Sorry but I only go once. I'll order the pizza" I laughed once again, walking away.
I sat on the couch in mine and Edward's room, listening to music. I didn't realize that Edward walked in the room because I was to busy listening to the song "Live While We're Young" by One Direction -my favourite band-. (I'm sorry if you don't like One Direction, but I just felt the need to mention them in my story. I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!...... ok back to the story....)
"What are you listening to?" he asked softly, startling me.
I jumped "Holy cow! don't scare me like that!"
He looked at me amused. "Well?"
I showed him the song and made him listen to it. "So what do you think?" I asked right after the song ended. For some reason I feel like I want to know what he thinks of them so badly and I don't know why.
He was quiet for a minute "Well," he said at last, "They're very talented, I just don't like the song. I prefer classics." That wasn't so bad, I guess. I didn't answer and he just walked out of the room without saying anything. And that was the last time I talked to him.
*2 Weeks Later. A day before school. Ending of Christmas break*
The sooner school came, the moodier I got. And the gloomier the weather got too. I'm happy that at least the weather agrees with my mood. *hint hint*
I went to Port Angeles a few days before to get school supplies and Edward came with me as usual. Even though we spent the whole day together, we still haven't said a word to each other. Not one single word. For some reason this bothered me and that's very unusual because if someone ignores me I normally don't care. But I guess my life is miles away from normal.
I finally decided that I'll talk to him first, because school starts tomorrow and I don't want the other students thinking Edward hates me -even though it's true- no one hated me in my old school, unless of course Britney, my rival in school.
I walked up to him "What's up Edward?" I asked casually.
He looked up and I saw his eyes widen in astonishment "I don't believe it" he whispered. "We have to tell Carlisle." he grabbed my arm and not too gently either dragging me up to Carlisle's office.
What now?????
Sorry this chapter is not as long as the others, I have so much to do and I just squeezed this in my schedule so I know it's crappy :( I appreciate the 10 hearts!!!! thanxxxxx guys!!! I only have 4 chapters and I already have 10 hearts!!!!
