Falling For You ~Edward Cullen~
Chapter 2
Arianna's P.O.V
The rushed feeling of running is AMAZING! I can feel the blowing of the wind while I'm running. I didn't realize that Edward had stopped.
"Do you plan on staying in the North American border?" he called after me. I skidded to a stop and turned around, Edward raised one of his perfect eyebrows looking quite amused. If I could still blush I'm pretty sure that I'd be tomato red right now.
I ran back to Edward "What will we be hunting today?" I asked.
"We'll go for something easier like some deer." He answered, "Now tell me what you smell?"
I lifted my nose in the air and sniffed "A herd of deer; three of them a little bit up North"
"Four actually, there's one behind a bush." he corrected. "Follow me"
We stalked toward the herd quietly. I felt so bad because there was a doe with her little fawn. The little fawn is SO cute! I can't believe that Edward and I are about to ruin this cute little family. I was still thinking when suddenly Edward pounced on the doe. The other two stags fled and the only one left is the fawn.
Edward finished draining the doe and he turned to me "Here you can have the fawn, it's easier. You should get used to hunting first until we start hunting bigger prey." he gestured to the fawn.
The fawn stared at me in horror, frozen to her -I'm assuming- spot traumatized, watching her mother get drained of blood in front of her. I stared back feeling sorry for the little fawn, and from my peripheral vision, I saw that Edward was watching me expectantly, waiting for me to pounce on the fawn. But there is NO WAY I'll kill a fawn.
I approached the fawn slowly and I knelt in front of her. She didn't move at all, she just stared at me with wide frightened eyes. Probably waiting for me to kill her too. I layed a hand on the fawn's head and started stroking it gently, while murmuring softly "sshhh don't be afraid. I won't hurt you, don't worry."
The fawn started to relax against my hand. I wrapped my ice cold arms around her soft furry little neck and leaned my head against hers. I twisted my head and glanced at Edward, who was looking at me incredulously.
I sighed and let go of the fawn "Go now, go and stay safe." I said softly shooing her away. And with one last look at her dead mother she fled into the trees. I turned to Edward, readying myself for whatever he was gonna say, what I didn't expect was the softness in his golden eyes. "Come on we'll find other animals..." he said softly and gently took my hand when I was near enough and ran.
By the end of our hunting trip, I hunted two mountain lions and one elk. By the time we got home -Dr.Cullen's house- everyone was already waiting for us by the living room.
"Oh, we were so worried. That took longer than I expected." Esme said concern showing on her face, "What happened was there any trouble?" she said as she ushered us in the house.
"No Mom, no trouble at all. We just got behind schedule, that's all" Edward explained. I'm glad that he didn't mention my "moment" with the fawn. That would've been truly embarrassing and judging by Emmett's eyes which had a mischievous glint in them, I would be teased my whole stay here -which I assume would be quite a while.
"Since we never expected to have another member in our family, we don't have enough rooms, so Arianna you'll have to share a room with Edward." Carlisle said quietly.
"Whaat??!!?" I exploded. I have to share a room with HIM????!!! Yes he was nice enough about the fawn thingy, but he was still mean to me when we first met and I don't want to share a room with a mood changing vampire.
"You two won't really be sleeping since you can't sleep. You just share the room to keep your clothes in." Carlisle hurriedly explained.
I groaned "Ugh, fine. Can I get all my clothes from my old house first? it's just a four-hour drive from here and we have all night."
"Alright" Carlisle agreed. "Edward will accompany you."
"Why me? Why is it always me?" Edward complained. Huh, so I guess he isn't nice after all.
"Because you'll know if there are people coming." Alice explained. Edward narrowed his eyes at her. And just walked out.
I looked at the rest of them confused. What am I supposed to do now?
As if reading my mind, Rosalie said "Go follow him to his car. It's in the garage."
I smiled thankfully at her and ran out to the garage where Edward is waiting in a shiny Volvo. Nice car. I got in the passenger seat without saying anything.
He drove out into the road. An hour full of silence later we reached my house and he parked in the road in front of my house.
"Wha- how did you know my address? I stuttered. "And how did we get here so fast?" I was panicking just a little bit, I mean I said I live 4 hours away and we get here in half an hour? Is he capable of transporting? Then he glanced at the speed meter and back at me. I looked down and saw that he was going 150 miles an hour and since it was like 2-3 in the morning, there were no cars around. But he still didn't answer my first question. How did he know my address?
"How did you know my address?" I asked again.
"It was in your wallet." he answered quietly. Then he reached in the back seat to take my shoulder bag. I was tempted to start yelling at him for snooping through my things but I resisted, instead I got out of the car and walked up to the front door and opened the door. I held it open for him and we went up quietly to my room.
My room had security codes and metal doors. I was quite a safety freak before. I punched in the code and when the first door opened, I took out my key and opened the second and last door.
When I turned on the lights, I saw him look around in wonder -probably thinking who were the people on my posters on the wall are- then his eyes finally rested on the corner of the room, where my piano stands and just behind that piano, my guitar was hanging on the wall.
"You play?" he asked nodding towards the piano.
"Yupp" I said popping the 'p'
I took out my suitcases and started packing. By the time I was done, I had 10 huge suitcases , five boxes and my shoulder bag. Edward started to put them in his car, jumping from the window.
After we finished putting my things in his car I went back in my room looking around. I'm gonna miss this place, and of course my family. Edward waited impatiently by the door.
I locked up my room again and we went quietly downstairs.
I held my hand up motioning for him to wait, as he was about to walk out the door. I took out a piece of sticky note and pen from the drawer in the living room. Hen watched me curiously as I wrote a not to my family.
Dear family,
I know that I've been gone for quite a while and I'll be leaving now. I'll probably be back in a few years :) I'm really sorry that I'm suddenly leaving. Nothing's wrong don't worry. I'll call once in a while. I'm just going up to Alaska for a while. Tell Arielle that I'll miss her the most.

I stuck the note to on the TV. I was about to go when I suddenly remembered something. I rushed upstairs to my room with Edward on my heels. "What are you doing? Let's go!" he hissed.

I looked at my guitar for so long and I just decided to take it. I locked up my room again and went to my little sister's room, where she's sleeping peacefully. I stroked her hair gently. I'll miss her the most. I put Mr. Teddy beside her and kissed her on the forehead, "I'm going to miss you so much Arie" I said softly. I sighed and turned to Edward who was watching me curiously and sympathetically, "Let's go."

"Where's the bathroom?" I asked Edward, who was sitting on the couch in his room. He pointed to the door on my left. I took a quick shower and changed into this:

I decided to start composing a new song. Half an hour later I came up with this:
