Chapter 28
Arianna's P.O.V.
*4 MONTHS LATER*
It's been four months since I told Taylor. Four months of dating Tyler. Four months since Edward and I kissed.
I always feel so guilty. I've been dating Tyler for 4 months now and yet, I still think about that kiss with Edward. I just can't stop thinking about it. The way his lips felt on mine. How he caressed me. The sparks that flew when we kissed.
I feel sparks when I kiss Tyler but it isn't as intense as the kiss with Edward. I sighed. I should stop thinking about Edward. About the kiss.
"Hey you alright?" Tyler asked, interrupting my thoughts.
I snapped my head towards him. "Oh...umm...yeah. I'm fine."\
He gave me a disbelieving look. "Ari. We've been together for 4 months. I know you. I know when something's bothering you. What's up?"
I sighed again. "It's just that Edward and I haven't been getting along lately."
He wrapped me in his arms and said nothing. That's all I needed. His support.
"So Alex is having a little get together at his house tonight since it's almost the end of the school year." he mentioned quietly.
I pulled away from him and said, "And by little get together you mean a huge crowded party right?"
He looked down trying to hide his smile. "Yup."
I sighed. "I'll come. And I'd love to stay but I have to go now. Knowing Alice, we'll be looking for outfits for hours."
He nodded understandingly. He went shopping with Alice before since no one would go with her, Tyler was kind enough to volunteer to go. They came back 4 hours later and he avoided Alice since. Whenever he comes over and Alice announces a shopping trip, he immediately finds an excuse to leave. It's quite hilarious really, Alice always has that guilty look when he leaves. And Alice feeling guilty is very rare. So everyone loves Tyler. Even Rosalie, who despises almost all humans on Earth.
We left the coffee shop and he guided to me to his car and drove to my house. We arrived in a few minutes, since Tyler drives like a maniac. Just like Edward.Ugh. Edward. Edward. Edward. Edward. Ugh! I can't get him off my mind.
Tyler walked me to the porch and kissed me goodbye. "I'll pick you up at 7:30 tonight." he said.
I watched him walk to his car and get in. He winked at me and drove away. It's funny how Tyler can make me smile and forget about Edward for a little while and Edward just causes me to be confused and hurt. It's like a cycle or something.
Edward hurts me, Tyler comforts me.
"Aren't you coming in?" Rosalie's voice startled me and I jumped.
She started laughing and I could hear the others laughing as well, no doubt that they know what happened.
I narrowed my eyes and said, "You are so nice Rose."
I pushed past her and walked in the living room. There they are. World's cutest couple. Well, according to Esme anyway. Bella sat beside Edward with her head on his shoulder.
I met Edward's eyes and pain flashed through them and in a second it was gone. I sighed and ignored him. I turned to Alice. "Hey Ali, you're going to Alex's party right?"
She looked between me and Edward before she nodded. She obviously noticed the tension between me and Edward.
"So can we go and get ready? Tyler's picking me up at 7:30 and it's 3:30 right now. Knowing you we'll probably spend 2 hours and a half picking the outfit, and 1 hour and a half doing make up and hair. So we better get started." I said.
Her eyes brightened when I mentioned the make over. "Come on let's go."
She grabbed mine and Rosalie's arms and dragged us upstairs.
We took all took a bath first, then met up in Alice's room as we searched for the right dress. According to Alice the party is formal. Kind of like a dance.
I was right. I did take us 2 hours and a half to pick outfits.

We finished getting ready with 5 minutes to spare. I think this is a record.
The three of us got the same reaction like before from the boys. I noticed that Jasper and Emmett are dressed. But Edward and Bella aren't. They're not coming?
"So Bella, you're not dressed. How come your not going?" I asked nonchalantly. To be honest I just wanted to know why Edward wasn't going.
"Edward and I decided to stay here and hangout instead." she said quietly.
"Ah." I replied with a disinterested tone. I heard a car pull up outside and it honked. "That's Tyler. I'll meet you guys at the party?" I asked.
Rosalie and Alice nodded.
I rushed outside to see Tyler standing beside his car. I kissed him when I reached him and he opened the door for me. "M'lady." he bowed.
I laughed. "Thank you." I curtsied.
I hopped in the car and he quickly walked around to the other side and got in the driver's seat.
He drove to the party and we entered the house.

We've been at the party for about 1 hour. I looked around the room to find Tyler. He said he was going to talk to someone for 5 minutes but that was half an hour ago. I pretended to listen as a girl in my History class blabbed about how her love life sucked. Well that makes to of us.
Finally I couldn't take it anymore. It's a party and she's ruining it by talking about her disaster dates.
"Hey. Um I'm sorry but I really have to go and look for my boyfriend." I said hurriedly.
"Boyfriend?" she asked.
"Yeah. My boyfriend, Tyler." I responded feeling impatient to leave and find him.
"You're dating him? That guy hit on a lot girls tonight." she said with such disgust that I almost believed her. Almost.
I know that Tyler would never cheat on me. We've been together for 4 months and not once did he look at other girls in an inappropriate way. And a lot of girls practically throw themselves at him and he never took notice of them.
I walked around asking people if they've seen him. They all shook their heads. Where can he be?
I was about to give up when I caught a bit of his scent. I followed the fading scent and it got stronger. Finally.
I followed his scent upstairs. Why is he upstairs? I walked down the small hallway, when I heard moaning in one of the rooms. And his scent was very strong by the slightly opened door way.
Please let my suspicion be wrong.
But it wasn't.
Inside was.....
Tyler and a slutty looking girl swapping spit. And what made it worse is that they were both naked.
I felt tears brim my eyes. I stood there for about a minute when I finally found my voice. "How could you?" I screamed.
They immediately pulled apart and stared at me in shock. Well Tyler stared at me in shock. The slutty girl stared at me with a smug look.
"Arianna...I-I-I- I can explain." he stuttered.
I shook my head furiously. "No. Don't. I trusted you and you let me down. It's over."
I ran down the stairs passing Alice and Jasper in the process. They gave me questioning looks at first but when they saw the tears on my face, questioning turned to concern.
I shook my head at them and ran vampire speed out of the house.
I HATE MY LIFE.
