Chapter 26
Arianna's P.O.V.
"It's been a wonderful night." I smiled fondly at him.
We were standing at the porch at my house. He stood in front of me. "Yes. It has been wonderful."
He leaned in and I did the same. I felt sparks when our lips met. It felt amazing and I never wanted it to end. But sadly it did.
"Ahem."
We jumped back quickly and looked at the person who interrupted our moment. And that person happened to be Emmett.
He started flexing his muscles. His smile and eyes brightened mischievously.
"Uh, well it's late Arianna. Good night." Tyler scratched the back of his head awkwardly.
I forced a smile. "Good night Tyler. And don't mind Emmett he's just goofing around.." I pecked him on the lips and went inside.
I watched him drive away through the window and when he disappeared into a corner, I turned to Emmett. "Seriously? You just had to interrupt." I growled.
Suddenly everyone appeared. All looking very concerned. Especially Edward.
"Is every thing okay?" Esme asked, worried.
I opened my mouth to explain but Emmett didn't give me a chance to. "Arianna was making out with Tyler!" he screamed, dancing some weird silly dance.
I looked at him with narrowed eyes. "Thanks Emmett." Sarcasm dripped from my mouth.
"Your welcome." he winked at me.
"What?" They all said in unison.
"Well, this is all teen stuff so I'm not in this. Good night." Esme said, her eyes twinkling.
"I agree. Good night then." Carlisle spoke up.
He and Esme held hands and ran upstairs to their bedroom.
Rosalie, Alice, Bella, Edward, and Jasper stared at me like I'm some science experiment.
"Uh...hi." I said feeling very uncomfortable.
"You two kissed?" Rosalie asked excitement shone in her eyes.
"Yes. It was absolutely amazing." I gushed.
"Then?" Alice urged for more details.
"Then...Emmett had to come and ruin it." I hissed turning accusing eyes at Emmett.
He put his hands up in surrender. "I'm sorry."
I was about to respond when Edward suddenly turned on his heels and ran upstairs. I looked at the others in confusion.
"What's his problem?" I asked confused.
The all shared a glance.
"Maybe you should go and talk to him." Bella suggested.
"Me? Why me?" I asked.
Rosalie sighed. ""Because! You two have a relationship that no one here can explain! It's weird but you two understand each other so well. It seems that nothing can break that." she explained.
I stared at her open mouthed. I didn't know that we had that relationship. Honestly I thought that our relationship was so fragile, that one mistake can ruin every thing. But Rosalie seems to think the exact opposite.
"Go." Jasper urged.
I gave them one last confused look then ran upstairs to mine/Edward's room. I could here him pacing around.
I opened the door and he stopped pacing immediately. "Edward? Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." he growled.
"You don't sound fine. What's wrong?" I asked getting worried.
He stayed quiet for a while. But then he spoke. It wasn't an answer to my question but something completely off the topic. "You kissed him?" he asked with a calm face and voice. But beneath that calm facade, I can see the rage and....jealousy?
"Uh...what does this have to do with anything?" I asked cautiously.
"I don't like it." he muttered.
Okay now I'm really confused.
"Huh?"
Then he turned on me his eyes filled with rage. "I. Don't. Like. It. I don't like your relationship whit him. I don't like the fact that you kissed him. Actually I just don't like it. I hate it!" he shouted.
I was just shocked. What?
"What? Why?" I asked.
"Because." he whispered suddenly looking worn out.
"Because what?" I urged.
"Because...I....can't tell you." he whispered sounding pained.
"Tell me."
"No."
"Tell me."
"No."
"Tell me."
"No.
"Tell-."
I was cut off by his lips on mine. His right arm wrapped around my waist and the other arm on the back of my head.
He immediately pulled back looking slightly dazed. "I'm sorry."
I couldn't speak at all. I was so shocked.
"I really am sorry. I shouldn't have done that." he shook his head regretfully. Then suddenly, he disappeared. The window was left open.
I touched my lips lightly. That was....indescribable. It was so much better than my kiss with Tyler. I felt so complete.
It's like a missing puzzle piece fit back into place.
