Chapter 25 (Part Two)
Arianna's P.O.V.
He kept on shaking his head, disbelieving. "This can't be happening."
I blinked rapidly for 2 seconds to fight the tears that threatened to fall. "I'm really sorry."
He looked up at me and sighed. "Don't be. It's not your fault. I just can't believe that I didn't know that it was her." he shook his head again.
I opened my mouth to respond but he spoke again before I had the chance to. "When I saw her, I felt something in my chest that I couldn't explain. She looked so familiar and I knew that deep inside, I knew her. But I ignored it." He smiled slightly. "And I think that you are to blame."
I scrunched up my face in confusion. "Huh? Why me?"
He laughed. "I blame you because you distracted me that night. And everyday. I had no chance to think about it because you were always there to distract me."
I looked down flattered. I'm so glad I can't blush.
"Arianna, I know this date didn't really go exactly as planned but, will you be my girlfriend?" Unlike other guys that tried to ask me out or ask to be my boyfriend, his voice didn't crack or waver. He asked in a steady confident voice.
I smiled. "Yes."
