Chapter 23
Arianna's P.O.V.
I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs to wait for Edward.

I looked at the clock on the wall for the 6th time. I sighed 'Where the hell is Edward?'
A voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "Arianna let's go."
I turned my head to see Alice, Jasper, Emmett and Rose by the door. When did they get here?
I raised my right brow questioningly. "Huh? I'm going with Edward as usual."
"Oh, ummm he told me to tell you that you'll be going with us because he went early to spend sometime with Bella before they go to school. Together." Rose whispered the last word regretfully.
I felt pain in my chest. Is it always going to be like this? I can't believe he ditched me.
"Are you ok Arianna?" Alice asked concerned.

I fixed my expression quickly and met her eyes. "Of course! Why wouldn't I be? Come on we're gonna be late." I stood up and ran out to Rosalie's red convertible, fighting the tears.
They followed a moment after with different expressions. Alice looked confused. Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper looked sympathetic.
*Skipping the car ride cuz I'm too lazy.*
Rosalie pulled in a parking slot beside Edward's silver Vovlo. I looked inside the car to see Edward talking to Bella. I can see him looking at her with so much love in his eyes that I just wanted to kill myself right there.
I was tackled by someone once I got out. I turned to see a laughing Taylor hugging me.
"Taylor!" I hugged her back. Being careful not to squeeze her too tightly.
"I missed you Ari! How come you didn't text me over the weekend?" she pouted.
I laughed. "Sorry. I've been really busy."
"It's alright. I've been busy too." she smiled.
She looked at me from my toes to the crown of my head, assessing me. "You look gorgeous as usual. I love your outfit."
"I can say the same thing about you." I complimented.
She linked her arms with mine and started skipping towards the school. "Come on."
"So how are you and Alexander?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her as soon as we reached the school doors.
She flushed. "Ummm....what do you mean?"
I narrowed my eyes. "Come on! I'm your bestfriend Taylor! Give me some details here!."
She held up her hands surrendering. "Okay okay! Chillax. Well...."
I waited impatiently tapping my foot.
She rolled her eyes at my impatience. "The day after the dance, he took me to dinner and we....ummm.....kissed....and now we're dating." she looked down as if embarrassed.
I squealed. "OMG Taylor!!! You two are so perfect for each other! Your relationship will totally last!."
Her eyes brightened. "You really think so?"
I rolled my eyes. "Duh."
"So anyway what do you think of Tyler?" I asked.
Her smile suddenly turned into a frown. "I'm really confused about him because whenever I see him or mention him or think about him, I kind of feel an ache in my chest. It feels like I know him and that he's very important to me and I feel that something bad happened between us that's why everytime I'm around him, my heart just aches. But that's the strange thing because he seemed so familiar but we apparently never met before." she explained confused.
Wait. Oh my gosh it can't be though. Maybe I'm wrong. I mean I don't even know his name. But everything she said fits....
"Taylor what was your old neighbour's name?" I asked urgently.
"Huh?"
"What's the name of the guy that you fell in love with?" I asked.
Pain flashed through her eyes and I regret bringing it up.
"Um...Tyler." she whispered. Tears brimmed her eyes and I pulled her in a hug. "Why do you want to know?"
I stared at her. Seriously? Is she not making the connection here? I stared at her longer waiting for her to get it.
I shook my head when her expression remained clueless.
"Taylor I think that the new guy Tyler is the guy that you fell in love with." I whispered.
Shock crossed her face. Then anger. Then pain. Then hope. Then back to pain.
Was it wrong for me to bring this up? What will happen to her and Alex if Tyler really is the guy?
I think I said the wrong thing again.
