Falling For You ~Edward Cullen~
Chapter 19
Arianna's P.O.V.
I sat on the couch trying to decide what to wear. We're playing ball in around 15 minutes -well I won't be playing, I'll just be watching.
Edward went to Bella's house to pick her up. And Bella is still gonna introduce Edward to Charlie, so we might start a little late.
After I came back from the meadow earlier this afternoon, Edward seemed overly concerned because he said that I took a while. I noticed that while Bella seemed concerned, she also seemed jealous.
I can't blame her. If my boyfriend was overly concerned for another girl even though there's nothing to be concerned about, I'd be jealous too.
Anyway I need to concentrate on what I'm gonna wear tonight. I can't wear a dress and wedges on a field.....actually it's fine by me I just wanted to change my outfit into something a little bit more casual.
I didn't realize that it's been 15 minutes. The others were already at the field. I told them that I'd catch up.
I called Rose. "Hey Rose are they there yet?"
"No not yet. Edward called Alice to tell her that they'll be here in 10 minutes. Not less and not more." she answered through the phone. "When are you coming?"
"Ok thanks. I just getting ready. I'll be there in 5 minutes."
We informed Rosalie and Emmett that we were gonna play ball and Bella. She doesn't like Bella at all. Something about her not being good enough for Edward.
After about a minute I finally decided what to wear and changed.

I opened my drawer of phone cases and looked for my blue case with a black mustache on it and changed my current one which was a One Direction case.
I ran downstairs and out the door. I reached the clearing in exactly 5 minutes.
"Hey Rose, Emmett." I smiled as I approached the couple.
Rosalie rose from the rock she was sitting on to greet me and so did Emmett.
"Hey. We missed you." Rosalie greeted while hugging me.
"Rose, we didn't see each other for like a few hours and you missed me?" I laughed.
She raised an eyebrow.
"Ok ok I did miss you too."
After Rose greeted me, Emmett engulfed me in a bear hug. "Hey Ari what's up?"
"Hey Boo nothing much." I said while hugging him back.
There's still 4 minutes left till Edward and Bella gets here.
Rose, Emmett and I chatted until we all heard a very loud laughter in the forest. A laugh that sounded so much like Edward's.
"Well I guess they'll be here in like a minute." Rose sighed.
"It's gonna be fine. It's not like you're actually gonna talk to her." I patted her back.
Sure enough a minute later, Edward and Bella came through the thick bushes and trees and into the clearing.
Rosalie sighed again and rose. "I'm gonna go."
Without another word she walked off towards Jasper, Alice and Carlisle who was farther out onto the field, making the bases.
I rose too preparing to go to Bella and Edward. Emmett, after a long look at Rosalie's back did the same.
I looked towards their direction and saw that Esme is already there. Emmett and I walked in human speed towards the three.
"Hey Eddie." I reached out and hugged him. That movement caused my cropped shirt to go up, showing my bare stomach. I let go and hugged Bella next. "Hey Bella."
From the corner of my eye I saw Edward looking at my bare stomach and I raised a questioning eyebrow when he looked up to meet my eyes. He looked away quickly and I knew that if he could blush, he'd be as red as my jeans.
I let go of Bella and resumed my place which is beside Emmett.
He put one of his arms around my waist and pulled me close.
"Was that you we heard Edward?" Esme asked.
"It sounded like a bear choking." Emmett clarified.
Bella smiled hesitantly at Esme. "That was him."
"Bella was being unintentionally funny." Edward explained quickly settling the score.
Alice had left her position at the bases and was running towards us. She hurtled to a fluid stop at our feet.
"It's time." she announced.
As soon as she spoke, a deep rumble of thunder shook the forest beyond us, and then crashed westward toward town.
"Eerie isn't it?" Emmett said with easy familiarity, winking at Bella.
"Let's go." Alice reached for Emmett's hand and he let go of my waist. They ran toward the oversized field.
I never really payed attention to them running, but now that I am, I noticed that Alice ran like a gazelle. He was nearly as graceful and just as fast - yet Emmett can never be compared to a gazelle.
I turned back just in time to see Edward ask Bella with excitement in his eyes. "Are you ready for some ball?"
"Go team!"
I tried to suppress a laugh as Bella tried to sound appropriately enthusiastic.
He snickered and, after mussing Bella's hair, he bounded off after the other two. His run was more aggressive, a cheetah rather than a gazelle, and he quickly overtook them. The grace and power took my breath away.
And it seems like it also took Bella's breath away as she stared at Edward openmouthed.
"Shall we go down?" Esme asked in her soft melodic voice.
Bella quickly resembled a more appropriate expression and nodded.
Esme kept a few feet away from Bella. Probably trying not to frighten her I guess. I walked a few feet behind Bella not saying a word. I prefer not to talk since I don't really know what to talk about and Esme being there makes it a little bit more awkward. Bella seemed to sense that and left me alone.
"You don't play with them?" Bella asked Esme shyly.
"No I prefer to referee. I like keeping them honest." Esme explained.
"Do they like to cheat then?"
"Oh yes. You should hear the arguments they get into! Actually I hope don't, you would think they were raised by a pack of wolves."
"You sound like my mom." Bella laughed surprised.
By then we reached the edge of the clearing and Esme didn't answer.
I knew that this subject upsets and I'm kind of mad at Bella for bringing it up.
"All right." Esme called out.
"Let the game begin." she blew the whistle.
This felt like my first time watching them play.
I sighed. 'I wish I can go back in time and actually have enough courage to ask out Edward before Bella came.
