Chapter 15
Arianna's P.O.V.
I groaned sitting in my chair. Mr. Varner is late as usual. This is the only class I don't have with Edward or Taylor. The only class I have with.....her.
And what makes it worse is that I sit beside her. I was forced to sit beside her because Mr. Varner said, since I'm popular I can help Bella make friends. I guess she's not that bad, but I don't like her that much because I think she's stealing Edward from me. Yeah why not just admit that.
Edward and I never mentioned the kiss that was about to happen before Alice and Emmett came. Turns out they just wanted to say hi -.-
If it wasn't Emmett I would've given them hell for interrupting. But Emmett is my favourite brother and Alice is just.....nice.
At last Mr.Varner came.
''Okay class. Today I'll be pairing you up to do an assignment. This assignment is a very big part of your overall grade, so you better work hard.'' he explained what the assignment was. We were supposed to do a lab. Easy-peasy. He started calling out the group names.
''Allison and Troy.''
''Grace and Tiffany''
''Arianna and Isabella.''
I snapped out of my reverie when I heard my name. And hers. I can't believe she's my partner for this assignment. An assignment that we have to do for a whole month. A whole month of me working with her? Yeah I dont think its gonna work out. I'm a pretty easy-going girl, but I don't think I can work with her.
"Can we go to your house? I don't think we're allowed to work at mine." she said softly.
"I don't know. Besides we don't have to work on it now. We can't, because we didn't even do the lab yet." I said coldly.
She flinched "Oh right I forgot."
I sneered "Smart."
She looked away. But not before I saw the hurt and anger in her eyes.
Ok. I might not have been fair. It's not her fault that Edward is so interested in her.
The bell rang, signaling our dismissal.
I grabbed my things swiftly but gracefully and walked out the classroom. Taylor had to go home at lunch because she wasn't feeling well.
I can't wait to see Edward. I wonder what he has in planned for us today?

I saw Edward leaning on his car and my smile widened. I ran up to him.
"Are you ready?" I asked him excited.
"Ready for what?" he asked confused.
My heart just broke right then. Right when he asked that, my heart broke. I was waiting for him to for him to start laughing and just say its a joke. And that he remembered. But that laugh never came. He remained confused and clueless.
"You actually forgot?" I asked painfully.
He crunched his eyebrows in confusion.
"What are you doing this afternoon?" I asked still hurt.
"Uh, I'm gonna take Bella home of course. As usual." he said.
I sniffed "Today is February 7th."
I saw a light bulb off in his head. (Not literally).
"Arianna, I'm so sorry! I forgot." he said putting his hand on my shoulder.
I shrugged his shoulders off. I also spotted Bella standing a few feet away. "Yeah right. You promised Edward! You promised that you'll spend this day with me. You'll help me cope. First promise and you already broke it." I said tears blurring my vision. (Yup thats right. I can cry. It's weird since Carlisle said that no vampire can produce tears. I can also eat. I found out a week ago when I was dared by Emmett to eat a slice of pizza. Carlisle said that the food just dissolves in my stomach. I can taste the food well. Carlisle said that I must have brought almost all of my humanity with me when I became a vampire.)
He reached out and tried to put his hand on my shoulder again but I moved back . "Arianna I'm really sorry. Let me ma-"
I shook my head, tears running down my face. "Forget it. Just go spend your time with Isabella." I spat out her name and glared at her. I fast walked and I heard Edward calling my name and I ignored him.
How could he?

I lay on the couch crying. It's been an hour and Edward still isn't back.
Suddenly a rock flew through the window and breaking it. I jumped and reached for the rock, which landed right beside the couch.
A note was attached to it.
Arianna,
I'm very sorry for forgetting. Please give me another chance. If you don'T want to I'll understand. But if you do choose to give me another chance, meet me in the meadow in half an hour. Wear something fancy and dressy.

I re-read the note, trying to decide.
A minute later I decided. I'll give him another chance.

I stuffed my wallet and phone in my clutch and ran outside. I had two minutes to get to the meadow.
I ran there and was surprised by what I saw.

I followed the trail to another surprise. It was a table with candles and soft jazz music. No food. No nothing. Just a table, candles and music. But it looks perfect and romantic. Sitting in top of the table is really cute teddy bear with an I'm sorry note stuck to it.
Then Edward came out of the shadows holding a bouquet of tulips. Blue tulips to be exact. My favourite flowers and my favourite colour.
I turned to him "Edward what is all this?" I asked in amazement.
All my anger evaporated when I saw him. Actually it evaporated when I saw the teddy bear.
He walked up to me holding out the bouquet. "I'm so sorry that I forgot what today is and I want to make it up to you." he said softly.
I took the bouquet and smiled. "Thank You. This is very simple but so amazing. No one has ever done this for me before." I reached towards him and hugged him.
He seemed surprised but hugged back.
He led me to the table.
"Tonight it's only you and me."
