Chapter 14
*3 Months and 2 Weeks Later*
Arianna's P.O.V.
I don't like her. I don't like her at all.
Ever since Bella moved here, she's all Edward talks about. We don't talk anymore. We don't even argue.
Edward said that she's very appealing to him. She's appealing? But she's so ordinary. How can she be appealing?
"Aria! Heeelllllooo!!!! Earth to Aria!!!" Taylor waved a hand in front of my face snapping me out of my reverie.
"Huh? What?" I shook my head, trying to clear my head.
"What is wrong with you these days? You've been so out of it ever since Bella moved here." she groaned.
I gave her the "Are you friggin' kidding me?" look.
She stared at me for a second, then realization dawned on her face.
"Oh my gossshhh!!!! You and Edward don't talk anymore ever since that girl moved here! You're jealous because he's interested in her!"
"Wow Taylor. You just realize that now."
"Sorry, I know I haven't been paying attention these days." she said apologetically.
I sighed "It's alright. I don't even have the right to be jealous. We're not going out, but just really want to talk to him. I guess I want to get his attention."
"I have an idea!" she sat up suddenly.
"What?" I stared at her warily.
"You should tell him, like a secret or something. Like something new about.....something."
"Something new? Like what? There's nothi-" I broke off suddenly remembering something.
"Oh my gosh Taylor! I have something to tell him! And I'm sure that what I'm gonna tell him, will totally get his attention."
Taylor grinned "Great! See I'm just that awesome."
"Yup you are that awesome." I gave her a hug, right before last bell rang. "I'll see you tomorrow, kay' Taylor?"
"Yeah sure, and tell me how it goes." she hugged me back, then walked towards her car.
Edward was waiting for me at his usual parking spot, by his car.
He didn't say anything as we both got in his car. Finally, I couldn't take the excruciating silence anymore.
"Edward I have something really important to tell you." I said in an urgent tone.
"What is it?" he asked without even glancing at me.
"Can we please go to the meadow? I'll just drop my bag off and change." I said softly.
He nodded.

I rushed downstairs to a frozen Edward.
"Ok I'm ready."
We ran to the meadow. I'd forgotten how much fun it was to just run with him.
We reached the meadow in a 5 minutes. I let my hair loose then.
We sat at our usual spot and for a few moments it was silent, except for the birds singing.
I finally broke the silence "I can control the weather." I just wanted to say it straight out.
He whipped his head to look at me. "What?" disbelief clearly heard in his voice.
I sighed and stood up. I said aloud "Let it be sunny." And it did become sunny. A few moments ago it was gloomy, now it's very sunny.
"Let it be stormy." Lightning struck across the sky and it started raining.
I immediately said for the storm to stop and it did.
I looked back at Edward, who was staring at me in shock and amazement.
"I think I can also control the four elements." I said quietly.
I stuck out my palm and started concentrating. A few seconds later there's a ball of water in my palms. I threw it across the field and it struck a tree.
"I can't believe it." he said still shocked.
I sat back down beside him. "Well believe it because I just showed you proof."
"I only heard this kind of power in myths. I didn't know it actually exists." he said in amazement.
I laughed "Yeah, I didn't either until 3 months ago."
"Three months?"
I flinch a little at the sudden coldness of his voice. "Yeah three months."
"You knew you had this power for three months, and you didn't bother telling me?" he was shouting now.
"Well if you would've been more accessible, I would've told you!" I shouted back. He has the nerve to get mad? He was the one avoiding and ignoring me. "If you weren't so busy with Bella I could've told you." I said the last part with hurt visible in my voice.
His gaze softened "This is what it's about? Me spending time with Bella?"
I looked away. I couldn't bear to look at him after I said that. Now he'd think I like him! I'm such an idiot!
He stepped closer and touched my chin. He turned my head to look at him slowly and I didn't resist.
"I'm sorry if I haven't been spending time with you. I'm really sorry."
Our lips were less than a centimeter apart, when we heard crashing in the woods.
A second later Emmett and Alice came through the clearing.
Talk about bad timing.
