Falling For You ~Edward Cullen~
Chapter 13
Arianna's P.O.V.
"He totally likes you!" she practically screamed.
"Be quiet!" I shushed her. "Anyway, he doesn't like me. He actually hates me."
"Oh really? Then why was he jealous?" she raised her right eyebrow.
"Ugh! I don't know! I'm so confused Tay." I groaned lying back.
Taylor and I were sitting under an oak tree in the school yard. I told her what happened this morning. She insisted that Edward likes me, but that can't be true because I know he hates me. But why would he be jealous? Maybe he does like me.
I erased that last thought from my mind. Yeah as if. He would never like me. Ever.
"What's wrong?" Taylor asked concerned.
"What? Nothing's wrong." I replied.
"Aria don't you dare lie to me. I know we just met, but I know you. Something's wrong." she insisted.
I sighed "I'm just really confused. I don't know if he likes me or not and....." I trailed off.
"And you think you're falling for him." she finished.
I stared at her "Wha-?"
She laughed understandingly "Like I said, I know you. I know how you feel....because...."
"Because?" I urged.
"Because I understand what you're going through, because it also happened to me." she finished with tears in her eyes.
"Awww, Tay." I pulled her into a hug. "What happened?"
She sighed and took a deep breath "He was my neighbor. Our relationship was exactly like your's and Edward's. We argued every time we had to be together. Everyday my friends tell me that he likes me a lot, but I never believed it. I knew he hated me. Well I thought he hated me. And that really hurt because even though I didn't want to believe it, I knew deep down that I was falling for him. Hard. It was a really hard relationship. And then what made everything worse, was when I found out we were moving. I told him that and he just walked away. Right then, my heart just broke when he walked away. I was crying for days. Then when it was the day I had to leave, he came up to me and....and..."
Taylor just burst into tears. And again I pulled her in a hug.
"And?" I urged her on. I knew that she'll feel better when she said everything.
She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand "And he told me he loves me. He said that he fell in loved with me right when he saw me. I confessed to him too. We kissed, but we ended everything. We both knew that long distance relationship won't work, so we sweared to each other that we'll try our best to forget each other and move on. It was hard but, I guess I slowly moved on. I'm still moving on but I know that I'm very close to getting over him." she finished.
I hugged her again. "I'm sorry that you had to go through all of that."
"It's fine. You know I feel better getting all of that off my chest." she smiled hugging me back.
************************************************************************** "What is it Alice?" I asked immediately sitting up. I was just watching TV with Emmett, Alice, Rosalie, Edward and Jasper. When Alice suddenly dropped her glass of water, getting a blank look on her face.
We all stared at her waiting for her to respond. Finally she returned back to normal.
"What did you see Alice?" I asked again.
"A new girl. She's moving here in 3 months. Her name is Bella and she will be very important to us." Alice replied with a soft voice.
"A human? A human will actually be important to us?" Rosalie said disgusted.
"Yes Rosalie a human." Alice glared at her.
"Do you know why she's important?" I asked. The others are very quiet.
"I don't exactly know why but, I do know that it will involve both you and Edward." she replied softly.
Edward and I glanced at each other.
"You're keeping something from us. You're blocking me out right now." he said coldly.
"I'm no-" she started to say.
"Don't lie! I know it's important so tell us now!" Edward shouted.
Jasper hissed at him "Don't you dare shout at her!"
Edward was about to say something back. And knowing his temper, it would be something really bad.
I interrupted before they could get into a fight "Edward no. Alice doesn't have to tell you everything. Everyone has secrets. You have your secrets, I have mine. Rosalie, Emmett and Jasper has their secrets too. So Alice is allowed to have her own secrets."
He opened his mouth to argue but I interrupted him before he had a chance to speak. "Edward, I want to know too. Alice will tell us when she's ready. Don't force her to tell you." I said gently.
He sighed "Your right." He turned to Alice "I'm sorry for yelling at you Alice. I just had a bad day."
She nodded "You're forgiven."
Edward left the room without another word, but he did give me another glance right before he left.
After a few moments of silence Emmett spoke up "Wow! He must really like you. He never listens to us when he's mad."
Everyone nodded in agreement.
If I could blush I'm so sure that I'll be so red right now "He doesn't like me! Why does everyone think that?"
I walked out like Edward did, but my destination wasn't upstairs. I went outside and sat on the porch to think.
What if he does like me?
