Chapter 12
Arianna's P.O.V.
I checked my reflection for the 10th time before bounding downstairs. http://www.polyvore.com/untitled_303/set?id=106233363
I stopped short staring at Edward "Edward are you seriously wearing that?"
He was wearing a plaid short sleeve shirt.
"Why what's wrong with it?" he asked in a flat tone. We haven't been getting along since our latest fight. And unlike our other small playful arguments, this fight was very big and I don't think we're gonna be making up anytime soon.
"It's -18* outside and you're wearing short sleeves with no winter jacket, jeans and running shoes and you're not freezing. That's not weird at all. I'm sure people here in Forks will find that completely normal." I said, my voice dripping with sarcasm.
He narrowed his eyes at me and ran upstairs and came back down a minute later wearing a winter jacket. "Happy now?"
I gave him a death glare and sprinted outside to my car. Where the others joined me half a minute later.
"I'm taking my car. I refuse to ride in the same car with that jackass." I hissed.
I got in my lamborghini and drove to school.
The sky suddenly turned gray, matching my mood. It started drizzling which turned to very heavy rain.
Seriously? This makes everything worse. Why can't it be gloomy as usual?
Suddenly the weather did turn gloomy. It suddenly stopped raining just as I pulled in the parking lot. I got out of my car, locking it, and looked up at the sky in wonder.
Could it be-? No of course not. I'm not THAT cool. But it's worth a try, no one will find out. If I'm wrong (which I'm sure I am) no one will be here to laugh at me.
I took a deep breathe and thought of a sentence.
It didn't take that long.
'Let it be very sunny' I thought. Feeling stupid as I did. But that feeling didn't last for long because it turned very sunny. I gasped as I see my skin sparkling.
I wished for the weather to turn gloomy again and it did.
Oh my gosh! I can control the weather!
I saw Edward's Volvo pulling in the parking lot followed by a a black Toyota.
Edward pulled in the slot beside me and they got out of the car.
The black Toyota pulled in on the other side of my car and Alexander got out.
"Good morning , Alex. What's up?" I walked around my car, glaring at Edward as I did so to greet Alexander.
"Good morning Arianna. And nothing much. How are you?" he smiled that adorable boyish smile of his and I felt my heart melt, even though my heart stopped beating a month ago.
"I'm fine thanks, you?" I smiled back.
"I'm fine too....hey....ummm....you know about the biology project?" he asked me stuttering.
"Yeah, the group project?"
"Uh, yeah....I was wondering if you want to make a group." he looked down blushing.
"Yeah sure why not. Can we add Taylor in?" I answered brightly. From my peripheral vision I saw Edward looking at us with.......jealousy in his eyes. Jealousy? Edward is jealous?
"Of course." he smiled back and we started walking towards the school.
I glanced back and saw Edward staring at Alexander with hatred.
One question crossed my mind.
Why would he be jealous?
