Chapter 9
Arianna's P.O.V.
I sat in Taylor's room finishing our project.
"Uh...Aria can I ask you a question? she asked reluctantly.
"You just did."
"Can I ask you another question?" she said rolling her eyes.
"You just did. Again." I replied laughing.
"Seriously!" she said chucking a pillow at me. A pillow I caught right before it hit my face.
"Ok ok! No need to start throwing things. Sheesh." I said still laughing. "What's your question?".
"Are you and Edward dating?" she asked softly.
What?!?!?! Me and Edward? Dating?
"You are out of your mind if you actually thought about that. Edward is my family for heaven's sake!" I yelled.
I guess, what made me so mad is because the moment she asked that question, something stirred deep inside me. A feeling I never thought I'd feel again. Well not forever.....but I expected it to be a while.
"Yeah but you guys aren't related. He's adopted and you're actually related to Dr. Cullen. And I think honestly think you guys like each other." she argued.
"Me? like him??!!? That freaking egotistical jerk?"
She shook her head "You know what, let's just forget about this. And finish our project."
I sighed "Alright."
We finished our project just before eight p.m. Taylor invited me over for dinner but I had to refuse. I'd love to stay but I can't exactly eat.
"Bye, Tay. See you tomorrow." I said getting in my car. She waved goodbye before going in her house.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Arianna! Hurry up! We're gonna be late." Edward shouted from downstairs.
Even when he shouts his voice is still so appealing. Wait I did not just say that.
I erased that thought from my mind and hurried on applying my mascara.

"Arianna!" he shouted once again from downstairs.
Ugh. I grabbed my bag and rushed downstairs.
I got in his car scowling. "Why do you always have to rush me?"
"Because you always take so long." he snapped.
"You drive like a freakin' maniac! We'll get to school early!" I countered.
He frowned and stayed silent.
We're always like this. Always arguing. I guess it's kind of like our tradition. I enjoy arguing with him, I get this thrill and I just feel so......happy with him. I don't know why. *************
Just as I predicted, we got to school early. 15 more minutes before the school bell rings. Edward led me to where the others are talking.
"Wassup guys?" I asked skipping around.
"You are not normal." Emmett said laughing.
"What? What did I do?" I asked pretending to be offended. Turns out, I was to convincing because Edward gave Emmett a warning glance. That little glance gave me a warm feeling inside.
"Aria!!!" I heard someone call my name. Well more like scream. My head snapped towards the sound of the voice. And so did the others'.
I saw Taylor waving me over. I smiled at her and gestured for her to wait.
I looked at my family "Gotta go guys, see you later."
Once again I saw that hurt look on Edward's face.
I ran human speed to Taylor, Jessica, Angela and Lauren. I don't really like Jessica and Lauren. Lauren is just to snobby and Jessica is well I'm pretty sure she's just hanging out with me because of my sudden popularity. And I'm sure Lauren doesn't like me either.
Once I reached them Lauren found an excuse to leave with Jessica dragging Angela away. I looked at them then looked at Taylor.
"She does not like me."
"You don't like her either so don't complain." Taylor said chuckling.
"True that." I agreed.
She looked at me up and down. "Damn girl! You're gorgeous and have an awesome sense of style."
"Look who's talking. Have you seen yourself?" Taylor is absolutely gorgeous too.
"Righhht" she said rolling her eyes. "Come on I want you to meet someone."
She dragged me all the way across campus.
I bumped into someone and I looked up to see the most gorgeous blue eyes I have ever seen.
