Summary

Violet York-Wellington lived a glamourous life as "New York's Princess". She was truly the girl who had everything served to her on a silver platter, due to her family's extreme prominence in the Upper East Side. All that changed at the age of nine when her mother died of a drug overdose and her castle came crumbling down. Fast forward ten years and her brother's in a mental health hospital and her father remarries another woman every six months. Distraught, Violets boards a plane to London where a childhood friend turned popstar finds her in her darkest time. With the prospect of a new life, will Violet be able to put all of her issues aside and put her trust in Harry?

Characters

Charles Matthew York-Wellington

Violet's older brother. He was previously a source of comfort for Violet after their mother's death, but then was diagnosed with depression and bipolar disorder. He currently is living at the Manhattan Psychiatric Center under constant care. He is twenty-two years old.

Eleanor Calder

Girlfriend of Louis Tomlinson. Her and Violet become fast friends along with Perrie.

Elizabeth Marie York-Wellington

The late mother of Violet and Charles. She was a great mother, but unfortunately had demons that lead to her cocaine induced death. Her death tore her family apart, as well as rocked the entirety of New York City.

Harry Styles

In world famous boyband, One Direction. He and Violet were family friends before he was famous, but hadn't seen each other in ten years. At least not before a freezing November night in London. Harry is fascinated by Violet, and will do anything to get to know her better and save her from herself.

Howard Winston Wellington IV

Wealthiest man in New York City's Upper East Side as well as father of Violet and Charles. Was a wonderful father before the death of his wife, Elizabeth. Since then, he's become withdrawn, and aggressive towards his progeny.

Liam Payne

Part of One Direction. The "big brother" to everyone, yet a bit distraught at his recent breakup with longtime girlfriend, Danielle

Louis Tomlinson

In One Direction. Dating Eleanor Calder.

Niall Horan

In One Direction. Takes an immediate liking to Violet.

Perrie Edwards

Part of Little Mix, and girlfriend of Zayn Malik. Her and Eleanor immediately embrace Violet, and the three become very good friends.

Violet Odette York-Wellington

Her whole life, she's been trapped in a game of "what not to do", Violet had never trusted anyone before. She was taught to be self-reliant and weary of anyone in her life after those she loved the most subsequently betrayed her. But, huddled on a street corner in London, she finds the one person who she might finally be able to put her trust in.

Zayn Malik
