Listening to Niall
Chapter 22: prime minister?
It was nearing noon so I left Niall at Zayn's and went back to the flat to get some models done for upcoming projects. The door to the dorm room was unlocked. That's weird since I remember locking it. As I stand there deciding if to walk away and call Niall it opens.
'Oh hi I was about to come look for you" Eleanor jumped.
"What are you doing back?" I asked hugging her.
"Louis wanted a party tonight so we all came back" she said
"So Liam is back too?" I ask
"Yep" she popped her p. "Come in what are you standing there for?" She pulled me into the flat.
I was working on the floor while Eleanor was watching vh1 greatest hits when Niall burst into the flat.
"Ni?" We both looked up to see him walking in with a lazy smile on his lips and my flowers in hand.
"Someone started drinking without us" Eleanor chuckled.
"Flowers for my darling" he handed them over. I got up to put them in water. When I was done I turned to find Niall dancing on the coffee table holding my ruler and twerking to a Rihanna song that was playing. I reach down to Eleanor's phone that was by his dancing feet and start filming. As he throws his hands in the air singing along and turning he notices the phone in my hand and points at me with the ruler- "You" he shouts taking a wobbly step towards me. I step back falling over a chair. He jumps of the table and walks to where I am with the ruler still pointed at me. I screech as he reaches out and snatches the phone out of my hands. Eleanor was chocking trying to get air to her lungs between giggles. I get up and run after him to the bedroom giggling too as Eleanor followed.
"What is he doing? What.. wh- off of my bed" Eleanor screams when Niall launches himself onto her bed. Hearing her scream he rolls off and crawls under. I jump onto his back as his head hands and El's phone are under the bed.
I put one hand over his eyes trying to get hold of the phone. "Give it to me" I laugh and stretch out trying to get my fingers around it.
"Get off" Niall is trying to push me off him and keeping the phone out of my reach at the same time.
"This will be good" I hear Eleanor say. I turn round my head to see what she's talking about. She is holding my phone filming the fight.
"El don't just stand there help me before he erases it" I shout at her and go back to Niall.
"Wait. I don't want to erase it just want to watch" he says.
"Oh" I leave his head and just sit on his back.
"So get off" he says again. I do just that and he sits up.
After we watch the films we took 10 times at leas,t we are ready to go back to the boys to join the party. I text Lea telling her and the girls to join since I was told Harry was bringing his two roommates.
As we enter, the party is in full mode. Loud music and a lot of alcohol. People were sitting around talking to each other. After downing a few more drinks Niall stands on a chair to gather everyone around him.
"So since they're a lot of people here who don't know each other we will play a little game" he waved around his bear bottle. To my amazement our friends listened and gathered chairs in a circle.
"So this is how we play" he said satisfaction taking over his voice. "Each person will stand up on his chair to introduce himself. But that person needs to also say where he's from and what animal he would have been and what he studies and- you know what I'll start and you'll understand as we go" he was talking really fast, looks around the room. When all eyes stay on him he continues.
"Since you all know who I am. I'll be Jamie" he says smiling at me
"No I'm Jamie" I say looking up at his drunk face.
"You can be me" he says
"So I'm Jamie Hart. I study industrial design I'm in my last year I'm living with this girl that doesn't shut up-"
"Hey!!!" El and I cut in
"I'm not finished" he says "so this girl is really loud. I rather live with my wonderful boyfriend. He is amazing. If I was an animal I would be a bear since I always cuddle up to my friends."
"Where are you from?" Harry yells out
"London da!!" Niall says in an American accent. That gets a bunch of people laughing. I stand up to start introducing Niall.
"You need to stand up on the chair" he says tapping my shoulder with his finger like a three year old.
"My turn I'll do what I want" I say
"Ok you'll need to forgive her she is too drunk to stand up on a chair" Niall apologies.
"Ok can I start now? Good. I'm Niall Horan I'm originally from Ireland but my parents moved to London when I was five. I'm in my final year of computer science and I like drinking. Like a lot. If I was an animal I would be a fledgling-"
"I see what you did there because of my yellow hair ha?? You're so smart" he cuts in
"I can't believe we are actually playing along to this stupid game" I say sitting down
"I can get you all to do whatever I want I'm so good I should be the prime minister." He smiles touching the beer bottle to my forehead.
"The day you'll become prime minister I'll run naked across the main of London" Eleanor says
"Did you hear that? Do we have that on tape?? Remember what she said" Niall jumps up shouting.
"I think that is a good idea you would be a great prime minister" Louis said bumping fists with Niall.
"Lou didn't you just hear what will happen when he will?" I ask. By the look on Louis' face he wasn't listening to the part of El running naked. When I repeated that he waved me away "No way she won't. Don't say things like that El. But seriously Niall you should be prime minister I'll vote for you" Louis continued.
"That day will go down in history" Niall smiled
"Yes but not for the reason you think. Everyone will remember it as the day Eleanor ran naked" Harry said
"exactly!" I say
"El don't steal my thunder" Niall made a sad face.
"Don't become prime minister then" She crossed her arm. As they continued fighting over Niall being prime minister the rest of the people at the party went back to their groups of conversation. I walked about until I came across Zayn Harry and another guy talking.
"Are you talking football?" I ask making a face
"No love, we're talking school and jobs" Zayn said putting an arm around my shoulders.
"Have you met Dani? He's Harry's roommate" Zayn said
"Hi" I smile
"So are you Niall or Jamie?" He smiled back at me
"I see Niall isn't the only one who had too much to drink" I say
"Na, just messing with you. You two make a funny couple"
"Thanks, I think.."
"Him Louis and Liam together not good when there is alcohol" harry said
"I was sure I'll find you drunk with them" I said giving him a mocking smile
"You probably would if he didn't have to be up early tomorrow" Dani said
"What is tomorrow?" I ask
"Fishing" They both say bumping fists.
"Didn't know you're into that" I say raising a brow
"Well, we already accomplished the fact that there is a lot you don't know about me" Harry whispers in my ear.
"You should come with us" Zayn said
"You going too?"
"Yeah"
"I have too much work to do" I say. I turn to see Louis and Niall picking Liam up and throwing him on the sofa. That’s it. Time for them to stop. I walk over and grab Niall's arm.
"Ni enough" I say
"Why? We are just having fun"
"Well, I'm not I'm going to sleep" I say
"Nooooo stay! Sleep here" He whines
"NO I want to sleep in my bed. I want a shower, I'm going" I kiss his cheek
"No no no I'm coming with you" He says pulling me to the door
"Yeah, you go with Jamie, I'll sleep with Lou tonight" Eleanor says laughing.
"Ok fine. Niall wait here a moment" I leave him with the gang and go to his room to get him some clothes. When I'm ready I go take him back to my place.
"gangamstyle!!!" He yells
"That’s it- come here" I say pulling him to the bathroom. I pull up his shirt.
"That's the way you want it?" He smiles at me undoing his trousers. He slips them off and throws them to the side standing in front of me in boxers.
"Come here baby" He says pulling me into the tub.
"Niall stop! You need to sober up" I say trying to get away.
As he hugs me I reach down and turn on the water.
"Coldddd" Niall shouts
"Yes it is" I say adjusting the temperature so we won't freeze. He sits down hugging his knees and resting his forehead on them. I play with his hair for a while until he picks his head back up. "I'm ok now" He says quietly
"You sure?" I ask
"Yeah" He looks tired
"Ok, take a shower your clothes are here" I point to the bag on the side.
When Niall comes out in clean clothes smelling of my shampoo I hand over a hot cup of tea.
I leave him to drink it as I go take a shower myself. I let the hot water work out all the knots in my neck and only then get out.
When I walk out of the bathroom Niall is already in bed. I walk over and climb in beside him.
I kiss his lips. He doesn't open his eyes but raises his arm and pulls me closure to him. I smile to myself and close my eyes.

I LOVED THE ENDING.... but haz is still alone... oh well
